For the avid readers and artists that reside within its walls, NILIMA boasts an extensive collection of books. They are discreetly integrated into the design. Throughout the house, thoughtful details abound, each one a testament to the homeowner’s impeccable taste and discerning eye. And for moments of relaxation and indulgence, a carefully crafted bar awaits, ready to offer respite and refreshment.
The focal point of the guest bedroom is its arched back wall, gracefully curving upward to create a sense of openness and elegance. Above the desk, shelves stretch across the wall, offering plenty of room for books, toys, and cherished possessions. The shelves also feature the same dual-colour scheme, with the wooden frame providing a sturdy base for the midnight blue shelves.
The master bedroom showcases a super minimal colour scheme of muted greys and muted green hues. A sentimental piece of storage was refurbished and given a bright greenish custom colour to add a deeper connection between the homeowners and their literary treasures.
The ceiling shows soft curves and embraces a cosy pendant light. The walk-in wardrobe and dresser are designed to provide maximum storage and accessibility. A subtle painted texture from Asian Paints coats the feature wall, which also showcases a cherished painting of the Starry Night.
