The Modern Luxury Interior Is The Epitome Of Grandeur | Sumessh Menon Associates
The Sky Villa exudes utmost comfort and sumptuous interiors where the grand foyer sets the tone for the whole space. A well-appointed living room with a cubicle chandelier and real-life chess pieces—the King accompanied by his Queen—elevates the interiors to a royal abode. The villa also has a furnished outdoor deck and a larger-than-life bar.
We’ve incorporated a lot of artwork, infusing the entire space with life and color. The main entrance opens into the living room, intentionally left open to allow maximum natural light to flood the space.
The artistic textured walls throughout the space tailors to provide a clutter-free environment.
A collection set from the Italian brand Visionaries that includes the chandelier, dining table, and chairs, along with the wall lamps, adorns the dining area. One of the walls also features a collector’s item digital world clock, acquired from Paris.
We’ve exceptionally layered the flooring with Brazilian, South American, and other exotic marbles, perfectly complementing the timelessness of Indian and Italian furnishings. Artisans from around the world worked to make this residence a chic and artistic residence.
Both of the daughter’s bedrooms are theme-based. One of them likes butterflies, so we embedded it, made it on the carpet, on the mosaic in the bathroom, took it to the wallpapers, etc. Arjun Rathi has done some bespoke lamps, and Loco Design has done a lot of wood and leatherwork.
Contemporary design elements, streamlined Italian furnishings, subdued tones, and hints of lushness through materials like marble and granite enhance the interior design of Sky Villa.
The master bedroom is completely made by Loco Design, and it has a lot of personalised touches to it. For instance, every corner has bronze embedded with the client’s initials, the wardrobe has hangers with the name imprinted, etc. We’ve used hand-picked exotic Brazilian stone for the flooring.
The other bedroom in grey tones has a feather-light, which was customised by Arjun Rathi. We procured all the art pieces from Maison Paris, and Jaipur Rugs, Cocoon, and Hands Carpets specially designed the carpets for us.
One of the girl’s bathrooms has pink quartzite and is completely pink, while the other follows a green theme. The guest room is completely heritage, following the English style in tones of grey.
The villa also has a furnished outdoor deck and a larger-than-life bar. On the deck, we’ve got this beautiful art done in concrete. This overlooks the entire UB city and the entire surrounding area. That’s why they call it “Sky Villa.” It’s one of the most premium homes in Bangalore.
