Perched high above the dense fabric of Parel, Maison 2301 unfolds as a quiet meditation on luxury. Designed by Eleven Storey for a three-generation jeweller’s family, this 3BHK residence reimagines city living through a lens of refinement, emotion, and restraint. It’s a home that doesn’t just house a family—it reflects their attention to detail, rhythm, values, and understated sophistication.
The design narrative is grounded in a single belief: that true luxury lies not in excess, but in authenticity. Every surface, curve, and texture here celebrates material in its purest form—marble for its permanence, veneer for its warmth, brass for its subtle glow, and textiles for their tactile honesty. Together, these elements weave a spatial experience that feels rich yet serene, grand yet deeply personal.
The Attention To Detail Proudly Stands Out In Every Detail Of This Home | Eleven Storey
From the very first step inside, Maison 2301 reveals its intent for attention to detail through movement. Curves become a recurring language, guiding the eye gently through spaces and softening transitions. Light dances off marble floors, brushing against brass accents and muted textures. The foyer sets the tone with its sculptural composition—where reflections, soft lighting, and fluid detailing make arrival an experience rather than a moment. Every line, every curve, every joinery detail carries quiet precision, echoing the jeweller’s world of delicate craftsmanship.
The living room finds its quiet statement in a single, commanding gesture — a ripple wall that stretches across its length, sculpted with fluid undulations that catch light and shadow through the day. It’s more than a backdrop; it’s the heart of the room’s visual rhythm. Designed with meticulous attention to detail, two doorways are camouflaged within its folds, maintaining an unbroken sense of continuity. A slender vertical shelving unit, delicately inlaid within this textured expanse, holds curated pieces on wafer-thin metal ledges — adding moments of pause and personality without disturbing the wall’s calm flow. Viewed from the foyer, this ripple wall becomes the first impression and the lasting memory..
The home opens up seamlessly into its living and dining spaces—an expansive, light-filled volume that feels grounded despite its urban altitude. Here, the palette whispers rather than shouts: soft blush, warm taupe, ivory, and the faint glint of metal. The furniture, with its sculptural silhouettes and plush tactility, offers balance between visual calm and physical comfort. A swing—playful yet poised—anchors the space as a nostalgic gesture reimagined for modern sensibilities.
Extending from this sculptural living zone is the dining area — an elegant continuation of the home’s fluid geometry. A contoured ceiling crowns the space, drawing the eye upward to a statement chandelier that glows like suspended jewellery, adding quiet drama to the room. Below it sits a bespoke six-seater dining table, its marble top softened with rounded edges and poised upon a custom matte-gold metal base that ripples in an almost amoebic form. The fluidity of this base mirrors the rhythm of the adjoining ripple wall, creating a dialogue between movement and stillness. Upholstered dining chairs with slender metal legs offer both comfort and poise, while a flush storage unit along the dining wall blends form with function — its seamless shutters maintaining the visual calm of the setting. Together, this attention to detail lend the dining space a sense of effortless luxury — vibrant, composed, and distinctly tailored.
The kitchen continues the home’s language of quiet refinement, translating it into a space of efficiency and ease. Soft pastel peach shutters with delicate fluting lend warmth and freshness, while a stunning Patagonia marble sweeps across the countertop and dado, its natural veining becoming the artwork of the space.
A thoughtfully placed breakfast counter near the entrance anchors daily rituals — from hurried morning meals to late-night tea — creating a convivial nook within the kitchen’s footprint. Above it, a neatly detailed storage unit holds everyday essentials like condiments and sauces, blending convenience with visual lightness. A subtle partition adds just enough privacy from the living area without closing the space off entirely.
The master bedroom, designed for the head of the family, is a retreat of calm dignity. The palette leans toward softer blues, whites, and greys — hues that soothe and rejuvenate. The room carries a subtle rhythm and attention to detail — from the gentle curve of the ceiling to the textural interplay on the walls.
A powder-blue headboard anchors the space, evoking a sense of poise and serenity. Marble finishes lend understated luxury, while natural light enhances the tactile quality of the fabrics and veneers. The adjoining balcony offers a contemplative pause — an urban veranda of sorts, framing the city yet keeping its chaos at bay.
The master bathroom continues this language of sculpted elegance — a space where craftsmanship meets calm indulgence. Clad in a striking blue-brown marble, the surfaces seem to flow rather than sit still, their curves tracing soft arcs along the counters and niches. The design challenges marble’s rigidity, shaping it into gentle contours and floating forms that almost defy gravity. Metal fittings add a quiet gleam, while a suspended light shimmers delicately above, casting a warm glow across the stone’s natural veins. The result is a bathroom that feels more like a private sanctuary with attention to detail — tactile, indulgent, and crafted with the same precision and poetry that runs through the rest of the home.
The kids’ bedroom unfolds as a world of imagination. It is a gentle departure from the home’s refined calm into a realm of play, discovery, and joy. Drawing from a jungle theme, a lively wallpaper of foliage and animals animates the wall opposite the bed. It infuses the space with a sense of adventure. The palette dances between cheerful yellows and fresh greens, echoing the vibrancy of childhood. Above the bed, a mezzanine becomes the children’s private world. It is a playful nook accessed by a wooden ladder and exited through a slide that arcs gracefully into the room. Mezzanine’s railing, dotted with colorful spheres and pivoting rings, turns safety into an interactive design feature. Beneath the slide, clever storage for books doubles as a side table, ensuring every inch serves both play and practicality.
The wardrobes are designed with similar whimsy — fitted with avocado-shaped handles and low pull-out drawers that make independence intuitive.
Completing the scene is a whimsical, handcrafted tree that anchors the jungle-themed wall. It is a sculptural installation that blurs the line between art and architecture.
Every surface, from the rounded edges to the fluid lines, is conceived with safety and softness in mind. The result is a room that feels spontaneous yet sensitively designed.
The kids’ bathroom extends the playfulness of their bedroom into a tactile, color-rich world. Here, design becomes an experience — a joyful exploration of form, tone, and texture. The palette unfolds through fluted mint-green tiles paired with soft white terrazzo flecked with subtle, playful chips. Arches repeat as a visual motif, shaping the shower partitions, wall niches, and window, tying the space together through rhythm and repetition.
Above, an amoebic contoured ceiling adds whimsy, punctuated by hanging pastel-hued customized light that lend a soft, dreamlike glow. Matte-black sanitary fittings and a wooden vanity ground the space with warmth and contrast, while a clever pull-out drawer doubles as a step for the children — a thoughtful detail that brings function into the language of play
If the father’s suite is a whisper, the son’s room is a statement — bold yet balanced. A deep wine-toned velvet headboard forms the heart of the space, set against a dramatic green stone backdrop and fluted paneling that frames it like a piece of art.
This room speaks of individuality — a composition where strong tones, textures, and materials coexist harmoniously. The palette is mature yet indulgent — a reflection of the occupant’s mid-age sensibility and penchant for refinement. The space celebrates tactility — the lushness of velvet, the rawness of marble, the structure of ribbed surfaces, and the golden glint of metal trims. It’s luxurious without being loud, expressive without losing sophistication. The city views beyond the windows complete the frame — grounding the room’s elegance in the urban context.
What defines Maison 2301 isn’t opulence in its loudest form, but rather in its depth of detail. Every surface is chosen for its tactile truth — marble for its permanence, veneer for its warmth, brass for its luster, and fabrics for their comfort. Luxury, here, is redefined as honesty of material and integrity of craft. Curves are a recurring motif — softening edges, guiding light, and lending movement to spaces. Even the smallest niches and details carry this sense of precision and intent — marble inlays that flow fluidly, trims that align seamlessly, and textures that reveal themselves gradually. Each space balances functionality with artistry — a reflection of Eleven Storey’s ethos of designing homes that feel both lived-in and layered.
At its heart, Maison 2301 is about family — a home that accommodates three generations under one roof while giving each their space to express, retreat, and reconnect. The design narrative gracefully bridges generational aesthetics — the father’s room serene and timeless, the son’s rich and contemporary, and the children’s vibrant and free-spirited. The shared zones — the living, dining, and foyer — weave these personalities together through a consistent palette and spatial rhythm. This balance between individuality and unity defines the soul of the home — a design that celebrates both identity and togetherness.
Maison 2301 stands as a study in understated luxury — where form follows feeling, and materials are celebrated in their truest form. The design doesn’t rely on ornamentation but rather on proportion, texture, and craft. Every corner feels deliberate, every element harmonized. In a city where space is a privilege, Maison 2301 achieves something rare — expansiveness through design. Curves, reflections, and materials are orchestrated to create continuity, making the home feel fluid, connected, and alive. Designed by Eleven Storey, it captures what true luxury stands for today — a sense of ease, authenticity, and emotion woven through every square foot.
