Sun Sky Park : Apartment Interior Is A Picturesque Manifestation Of Dreams | K Studio Designs
Visit : K Studio Design
A home is a place where dreams manifest and one’s inner strength resonates. This is the underlying philosophy with which the team at the design firm, K Studio Designs, approached the 3-bedroom project at Sunsky Park in Bopal, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This apartment proved to be a canvas of sprawling 1110 sq. ft. for the designer Karishma Sutaria and her team, and they ensured that they bring to life some of the most intricate as well as intriguing designs that would transcend the residents of the home to a world of serenity and inner peace.
The owners of the apartment, Mr. and Mrs. Kansagra had a vivid picture in their mind, of a tranquil family abode in which their family of six would thrive and feel energized at all times. This nuance of the dream abode was understood wholly by the design team of Karishma Sutaria and they thereby delivered a masterpiece of art and elegance which encompassed all elements of Vaastu compliance, to usher in an aura of harmony and positivity for the residing family. Effective space utilization was focused on while having color coordinated furniture & fixtures with intricate woodwork to elevate the overall décor with bright colors as preferred by the owners.
Entry to Living
As you step into the heart of the house, the living area, the world of elegance and sheer exuberance unfolds and one cannot but help notice the offbeat treatment of the concept of a “Living Room”, engulfed in the rejuvenating textures of peach, blue & grey.
The charm of subtlety laced with magnificence begins to unwind as soon as one sets foot into the place as the wall at the entrance is etched with a beautiful calligraphy of ‘Om’ that is embossed with slokas against a backdrop of golden dust hues. The word “Om” and the sloka emanates a sense of tranquility and has a calming impact on the minds of the residents.
One does not find the run of the mill couch and sofa set up. Rather the splendor of beauty dons on one as the backdrop is a wall which is embellished with a big mural art alongside the finesse of natural brick finish.
The center of the room is adorned with an aesthetically designed partition with a PU finish that uplifts the overall feel of the room and magnifies the décor due to the elegant circular design along with space to display showpieces. An enormous amount of detailing is observed as the design of the couch is also unique and sets a tone of exquisiteness.
Kitchen to dinning
Further, in the kitchen area one can witness the adherence to Vaastu guidelines. The entire placement of the kitchen is rejigged with a bright color combination while using dado titles and a brightly painted partition that ushers in dynamism into the kitchen as well as the dining space.
The space between the kitchen and the dining area is decked with artistic hanging greenery elements along with a touch of affluent art in the form of a big designer clock on the ombre colored wall of the dining room.
The sleekness is evident in the grand marble finish dining table which is complimented very well with the ombre colored curtains dinning to living in the backdrop.
Parents Room
The bedroom for the elderly members of the Kansagra family, that is the parents of Mr. Kansagra is methodically crafted with lively colors like yellow with blushes of green to ensure that the senior citizens always had a rush of energy engulfing them.
A corner, dedicated to being the “Puja Corner” for the elderly couple so that they could be amidst the rendition of quietness and serenity, while it is adorned with a mirror amidst the background of a wood finish. The wall of the room is decorated with art pieces that are light and would keep the overall fervor of the room minimalistic yet effective.
Children’s Room
The children’s room has been crafted with a lot of care and proved to be the right combination of bright pastel colors of green and blue hues coupled with designs that could drive in frolic and happiness for the young 7-year-old children of the Kansagra family.
It was ensured that there is enough storage capacity built along with adequate space carved out for a well-designed study table while safeguarding that there is enough open space left for the children to play and live their childhood to the fullest. The beds are also designed keeping in mind the physical attributes of the growing children.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is designed to be a relaxing place as an amalgamation of meticulously crafted designs and aesthetically chosen shades that are bright and reflective of the vibrant personalities of the couple. The tinge of yellow intertwined into the white colored walls ushered in a unique style which is reflective of serenity.
The beautifully designed scenery of mountains and birds with an extension of birds flying into the walls that have a royal teakwood finish exude the tone of freedom that embodies the kind of vibes that the Kansagra family always wanted. A thoughtful focus was laid on the space utilization aspect of the room as it is installed with a working table along with a beautifully crafted library unit in bright yellow and a TV unit as well. Elegant craftsmanship is at display in the Veneer finish, and one cannot miss the finesse in the subtle yet effective color scheme of the PU.
