Located amidst the urban fabric, this 1050 sq.ft. office space graces the uppermost level of a commercial edifice. Bathed in natural illumination from northern glazing, the square floor plate of this office cubicle design exudes a soft, diffused light.
Editor’s Note: Functionality and aesthetics take a unique turn at the design of this Financial advisor’s office in Belgaum. Circular forms guide the users with the distinctive color and material palette of polished wood, brick and concrete textures. The use of pop vibrant colors for the furniture breaks the monotony enhancing the aura of the office space. ~ Simran Khare

Conceived as a fusion of financial advisory office and café ambiance, this space artfully melds into an open studio, fostering dynamic social interactions which is further conceptually choreographed by introducing a central cylindrical form, defining spaces along its circular contour.
Encircling this intangible cylindrical form, seating envelops one side, while along the same curve reception completes the other, guided by an axis slicing through the central space creating a subtle level variation that distinguishably guides visitors through the centrally formed axial passage.
A pre-existing wall, punctuated by a rectangular void which is viewed from the entrance, imparts a sense of privacy from the main space.
This interstitial area transforms into a waiting alcove, which holds a built-in IPS finished seating along a brick-cladded wall. Beyond, the rear side evolves into an informal discussion nook, animated with vibrant pop colored furniture and furnishes.
Complementing the central realm, workstations delineate space, including a reception zone by the entrance and a secluded well ventilated MD cabin.
An exposed concrete wall along the central circular curve which demarcates the backdrop for inhouse events also elegantly segregates the service area at its rare side, while a pantry discreetly nestled at the far end, maintains visual connection overlooking the discussion space through a slender wooden partition.
Glass partitions defining the cabin ensure both visual continuity and acoustic isolation. Wooden pivots towards the workstations seamlessly unite with the central expanse while retaining individuality.
The infusion of greenery enriches the atmosphere, fostering a sense of positivity and productivity. Thoughtfully designed furniture cradles plants, while the cantilevered wooden seats along the central discussion space adorned with hanging flora bestow harmony.
A suspended ring light from ceiling serves as a luminary conductor, visually holding the cylindrical form intact which casts a dramatic radiance that orchestrates the entire space.
The understated grey IPS floor serves as a canvas upon which the central datum stands out with Red Arbhavi stone. Polished teak wood partitions, complemented by cladded brick and concrete textures, harmonize the overall aesthetic.
