Foyer area.
This area we called it as the creative room for our client, as she loved to paint, we have used wall art for her painting. Old refurbish wooden frames and moldings for the wall art creates a mesmerizing look. All Paintings are done by our own client Mrs. Nikita Kapadia.
“Old is gold” we have actually designed the foyer area considering this, the door of pooja room is again from her refurbish old doors, as to make it more creative we have used all old things, even in window we have bamboo curtains for natural look, flooring is Italian marble and even bench is again from the old wood customized according to our need.
Living hall.
This blend of contemporary & traditional interior design looks quite sophisticated and warm. Adding a drama to the living hall entrance we designed it using the (lift) Jaali which gave a nice small partition look between the Tv unit and Sitting shoes area, as per the client requirement she wanted her home to have colors and life so we have used teal/yellow/pink/white colors with dash of plant to the hall.
Moving ahead to the Jhula designed in the living room gives the center partition between the dining area and living space. Thisjulais customized according to our client’s requirement in distress look of pink velvet sitting & the pink rope which adds color in the living space.
Dining area
The dining table was custom made again from old wood while the fencing MS jaali was used to attach the legs of the dining table and the chairs were designed accordingly with the yellow bench.
The reading area:
This area was created by dismantling the window to floor level. The sitting was again customized as per the respective user. The teal color added the warmness and liveliness to merge the area with bricks on the sides of the window which again gave an add on a look to that area.
Master room:
The master room was designed in a contemporary way as per the respective user. Their requirement was to add a sitting area near the window installed by Goregain windows. The Checks back painted glass partition gives a soothing flow to the master room & closet area. Long-lasting cement/Italian flooring from Bikaner used near the sitting area to add a pattern. Minimal study area with stain-free stucco paint is added to space.
The French room:
The queen French room was designed for their guest. The white color that collaborated with the hues of grey is a thought beyond the standards of the color pallet. Teak laminate & black PU was used as a material pallet. Lights gave the add on to it just a simple look.
The Daughter Den:
Here our client was very keen to make her daughter’s room very beautiful & simple. There in the room, we have used teak veneer & old wooden molding for bed which gave again old home look. Padding on the bed was selected in pastel colors. We have highlighted the windows by giving a sitting area in one window and one as a play area for the child. The study area was also designed according to the kid’s requirement where we used a chalkboard on the top of it and the magnetic pinboard on the back doll mirror which was specially customized for the child. Metal basket was used for storybooks and creative books.
Kitchen
Teak laminate combination with Spanish tiles. Black and Grey with white back-painted Glass used as a writing board for Kitchen groceries.
The passage
Here we have used the barn door in passage area for the common bathroom which gave an add on. The bathroom was designed for guests so the white bricks with grey wall half on half look adds a definite character. The guest bathroom is designed as a multipurpose space. Metal frame mirror on the wall with a touch of chalkboard on it where my client will keep changing messages.
