  • Monochromatic Modern Home With Subtle Colour Schemes | AMSEL DESIGNS

We designed a 3 level monochromatic modern home with subtle colour schemes that’s soothing to the eye. The home is swathed in grey, beige and its many tones with accent shades. We gave monochrome, muted look living rooms which is a timeless design. Almost every piece of furniture was custom made for this home.

Modern double height chandelier-like clusters of pendant lights cascading from a single, large ceiling plate is planned in the open lounge area outside the kitchen.

Keeping in mind the overall house theme, we decided to give the main bedroom calming white walls with pop trims and textured herringbone wooden flooring. The bedroom is a combination of tones of neutral colours with soft pink, and exudes a delicate and soothing aura.

Pastels are the modern trend to decorate the children’s rooms. These tones are comfortable for the kids eyes and they bring in a certain sophistication and elegance to the space. We used subtle colour palettes and lots of tonal variations.

Patterned wooden flooring was added along with interesting shapes and forms to create fun, vibrant but at the same time calm interiors using soft pastels.

Our favourite space, the  seating lounge on the second floor has the rich combination of muted tones mixed with brown & olive-green, highlighted by accent of gold in the marble centre tables.

This room has glass doors which leads onto the terrace garden, bringing some of the outside indoors. The green fabric of the sofa keeps with the earthy colour scheme.

A pantry was incorporated in the family tv lounge area of both upper floors overlooking the double height chandelier adding to the design element of this space. We used neutral finish and muted colour palette to create a tranquil look and feel.

All Bathrooms are finished in marble which includes an enclosed glass shower cabin. A steam room is added in the gym bathroom. The stellar vanity wall has countertops with a double moulding marble edge detail, over-the-counter sinks and lit mirrors to add an opulent touch.
