With a vision to optimize the space to its fullest potential, the designers tailored each space in the residence. It collectively led to the manifestation of a seamless and elegant retreat. Three generations of the family are living together under one roof. The challenge was to craft a cohesive design that uniquely meets the needs of each family member.
The outcome was based on thoughtful space planning, smart storage solutions, and meticulously chosen furnishings. Establishing a subtle tone with a muted color palette complemented layered textures and added drama.
Having a mood board that reflects each resident’s preferences, the transformation of The Luxe Haven was spearheaded by the foyer design. Upon entering, one is greeted by a striking curved metallic wall. It immediately captures attention and is enhanced by the Lasa white marble flooring.
This space leads to a living area basked in natural light through large windows, creating an airy and welcoming ambiance.
The custom-designed furniture in the living area exudes luxury. It features neutral-toned sofas upholstered in light leather and a cutting-edge coffee table. A Calacatta Oro marble top, expertly crafted from the marble used on the walls also features metallic ombre PU.
The table elegantly supports the bold golden accents, further enhancing its opulent appeal. Additionally, an exquisite chandelier amplifies its splendor.
The open floor plan fosters fluidity between the living and dining areas, leading to spaciousness. The dining area stands out due to the unique table design and metallic chairs upholstered in textured fabric. The warm furniture tones and the marble tabletop placed on the polished stone flooring with cooler hues add captivating contrast to the space.
The space maintains a balanced and harmonious atmosphere that is both functional and visually striking. Extending these spaces, a cozy balcony features an arched niche, a minimal coffee table set, and potted plants that infuse liveliness into the home.
As spirituality is vital to Indian families, the brief for the temple design was to reflect the family’s desire to bring a sense of tranquility. It also ensures while ensuring it occupies minimal space. A sliding textured fabric door disguised as an understated design element allows the temple to blend with the overall space. Inside, White Onyx enhances the serene atmosphere, embodying the family’s spiritual aspirations.
The passage leading to the bedrooms, originally requiring flush doors, transforms into a grand decorative corridor diminishing the idea of mundane transitional spaces. Adorned with arches, the passage contributes to the home’s cohesive aesthetic by continuing the use of color white in flooring, wall panels, and ceiling. The delicate chandeliers placed at regular intervals add to the grandeur of the space leading to the private areas of the house.
Being the serene retreats of the home, the bedrooms act as an extension of the residents’ personalities. Exuding an incomparable calmness, the grandparents’ room features monochromatic tones and soft textures. The textured wallpaper and tall veneer wardrobes with golden knobs perfectly enhance each other’s presence. The delicate hanging lights made from onyx marble placed above the side table add elegance to the space. The Mono-Hued appearance of the room is uniquely complemented by the extensive use of luxurious stone in the walls and flooring along with the fluted glass in the attached bathroom.
Timeless and inviting the master bedroom showcases regal textures as well as finishes. The interplay of rich materials like 3D veneer and marble creates visual elegance, while custom curtains, wallpaper, and the choice of colors help achieve a balance of style and substance. The spacious bathroom features a unique oblong mirror accented with gold and the use of marble in the flooring and vanity, paired with the gold accents in the sanitaryware, create a classic aesthetic.
Introducing a sense of playfulness, the son’s bedroom features a sleek, curved headboard in a unique rust shade, a distinct mirror design, and custom-designed handles. Moreover, the 3D veneer utilized in furniture and on walls amplifies the sheer sophistication realized with the use of silver Orobico marble and 3D marble in the bathroom.
Featuring a playful twist, the guest bedroom blends functionality with charm while ensuring an unforgettable stay for the guests.
A playful ochre headboard design, floral wallpaper, and marble balance each other while maintaining the uniqueness throughout. Moreover, the guest bathroom reflects exquisiteness through the ample use of marble, enhancing visual appeal.
The completion of this Luxe Haven, a 3000 sq. ft. apartment took nine months. It epitomizes the successful fusion of opulence as well as functionality. Moreover, the designers skillfully integrated the family’s vision, creating a warm yet inviting ambiance that reflects their ethos. From grand living spaces to peaceful bedrooms, this home exemplifies how thoughtful design can transform a space into a sanctuary.
