LUXE is a 2,000 sq. ft. corporate office in Mumbai. ZenSpace Architects & Interior Designers designed the office for HFP Group, Hindustan Fire Protection. HFP Group is a leading manufacturer and supplier of fire safety equipment. The design brief focused on creating a space that makes a premium first impression. It also reflects the company’s heritage and credibility. The office also functions as a silent brand ambassador, building trust before a word is spoken.

ZenSpace Architects approaches every project with one founding principle: design must be a reflection of its users. Before drawing a single line, the design team studied the personalities of HFP’s three directors in depth. Each director brought a different age, temperament, and working style to the table. This discovery process became the backbone of the entire design. It ensured that the office would not merely accommodate its occupants, but genuinely represent them.

Reception

The designers shape the reception lounge at LUXE as a brand immersion sequence. Twenty years of trust. Built into the wall. This is the moment clients walk into and immediately understand who HFP Group is.

The designers make the reception desk at LUXE the centrepiece of the arrival sequence. They shape it in dark grey and polished gold, with integrated underlit detailing.

Workstation

The designers plan the workstation floor as a visual journey, guiding the eye from the entry through linear oak desks. This movement leads toward the curated feature wall, creating a narrative flow that sets the office apart.

The designers replace the conventional fluorescent grid with linear LED ceiling tracks. This lighting strategy helps reduce visual fatigue and adds warmth to the space. It also signals to the team that their environment is valued as much as their output.

Where the workstation meets the reception corridor, the wave timber ceiling and brass mirror pendants create a transitional moment — a design decision that ensures no part of the office reads as merely functional.

Feature Wall

The designers shape the feature wall to serve as a curated brand display for HFP’s fire safety products. They also use it as a sculptural focal point for the workstation floor, giving both purposes equal importance.

The designers extend the wall panelling through the corridor. They use it to connect the workstation zone with the wider material language of the office. This approach maintains a consistent design quality across both primary and transitional spaces.

Glass partitions between the workstation and director cabins maintain visual connectivity across the floor — a spatial decision that keeps the office feeling open and collaborative without sacrificing the privacy each zone requires.

The designers deliberately terminate every sight line across the workstation floor. Here, the sculpted wave ceiling and brass pendants in the reception corridor close the view. This approach encourages the eye to explore the space from every direction.

A long sintered stone table, cream leather seating, and a sculptural brass sputnik pendant are positioned within full-height glazing on two sides — a room designed to elevate every conversation held within it.

Conference Room

The evening light reveals the conference room at its most atmospheric — sputnik reflections across the glass partition and warm LED ceiling tracks creating a setting that is as effective for networking as it is for negotiation.

Floor-to-ceiling glazing frames the Mumbai hills as a deliberate design element — the landscape made a permanent, ever-changing backdrop to every meeting, deal, and decision made in this room of the corporate office.

A cantilevered sintered stone desk meets sharply angled charcoal wall planes — every line in this cabin is intentional, translating the director’s fast-moving, precision-driven personality directly into architectural form.

Intersecting geometric planes in charcoal and grey, gold partition trims, and a custom laser-cut car artwork work together as one composition — a space designed around a passion, not just a brief.

The angular wall geometry and custom car artwork are most readable — a reminder that in personality-first design, the most personal detail is always the most powerful one.

A custom white desk edged in polished gold brings warmth and precision together — designed to reflect a director who leads with calm authority and quiet confidence.

A deliberate design choice to create stillness and clarity for an introspective, behind-the-scenes leader.

The full-height mirror panel expands the space while the gold pendant and cream tufted sofa soften it — balancing openness with intimacy for a cabin of corporate office.

Materiality

Dark walnut joinery, black lacquered shelving, and a backlit organic wave panel are placed in deliberate contrast — expressing authority, confidence, and the bold personality of the company’s most decisive director.

A crystal chandelier, bold contrasts create a composition of layered visual weight — a room that was designed to command presence from every angle.
