    How to apply for a renovation loan?

    You can apply for a renovation loan online; however, you need to check your eligibility for a renovation loan. For applying for a renovation loan, you should:

    •  Be a permanent resident or Singapore citizen 
    • Of age between 21 and 65 years 
    • Be an owner of the property or a family member related to a property owner and have consent for the loan. Such a person can be a spouse, parent, sibling, or child living in Singapore.
    • Have a minimum income of S$24,000 per annum

    If you are eligible, you can apply for the loan in just three steps:  

    Step 1

    You can download and provide the required details in the application online. 

    Step 2  

    Make a checklist and confirm if you have submitted all the required documents for applying for the loan. The required documents are:

    • Completed application form
    • Scanned copies of quotation or invoice signed by a contractor and applicant(s)
    • Income proof documents
    • Proof of ownership

    Step 3  

    You have to apply online, and for it, you get assistance from the digibot. Further, you have to authenticate it through a unique Digibank User ID and PIN, ATM, debit or credit card number, and PIN. 

    Once your renovation loan in Singapore is approved, the loan amount will be disbursed to the contractors through the cashier’s order(s) after deductions such as handling and insurance fees. The charges for the cashier’s order will be debited to your designated loan servicing account.
