While keeping the traditional spirit alive in this home, there’s also a sense of restrained opulence, which, I feel, epitomises the definition of modern living in an Indian home.

The spatial configuration of the home was kept fairly straight forward with the living space & dining space open of the home to bring the family together, and the guests and bedrooms surrounding it for quicker access, while walking us to the open-plan kitchen and dining room.

The homeowners, who run a FMCG business, love travelling & hosting people were keen on a home that was unique yet global & luxe in appeal. Their brief to the designers was a sense of refreshment, a space that could help them disconnect from their daily routine & provide ample storage.

An earthy tan, cream, grey and green color palette, as well as the use of wood, stone, marble and Glass, admirably hold together this visual conversation.
