  • Atypical Luxury that fuses Modern yet Elements of Classic Design | Transform Design Studio

Every inch in this modern design home is special to us, but the one area that has my heart, is the entrance foyer where a high gloss veneer paneled wall has numerous vertical boxes of lights at different heights that creates drama of sorts which compliments beautifully with the long storage console finished in high gloss black lamination with gold metallic handles that illuminate magic the moment one steps inside the home and sets the mood for what lies ahead.

Atypical Luxury that fuses Modern yet Elements of Classic Design | Transform Design Studio

This is a home designed for an acclaimed writer from the entertainment industry. Brief given was to create a glamorous space which is a perfect amalgamation of luxury & style reflecting the client’s tastes & personality.

The kitchen dons a very modern electric yet classy feel with the use of black & white combination for floor, backsplash and the high gloss black and white acrylic/glass combination for the modular shutters.

The biggest challenge faced was to deliver a home that was an unconventional fusion of luxury and style with rich materials to create a balance between aesthetics & functionality without looking to over the top and yet create a statement.

My clients were looking for an elegant classic design for their home which oozes luxury, at the same time is functional & cozy. The extra height of the house helped play with the aesthetics by use of full length curtains, full height mirrors and headboards to create visual impact.

The balcony overlooking the beautiful view adorns a gorgeous black and white floor as compared to the entire home with greenery played over the walls thus balancing the glossy interiors inside.
