Being a young entrepreneur, we wanted to design an office which resonated with the client’s personality without compromising on any of his requirements. Here, we have used metal partition with fluted glass, exposed bricks and veneer, keeping the overall appeal of the space very relaxed and vibrant.
An Office Which Resonated With The Client’s Personality | Meraki Design Studio
The entrance covers the entire wall with veneer and different styles of polishes in granite.
The reception area keeps comfort in mind while making sure that it gives welcoming energy to anyone walking in.
Here, we have used a variety of materials like veneer, fabrication, fluted glass and exposed brick in a combination of dark and light hues to make the space look vibrant yet relaxed.
The staff area considers requirements of the client to have enough storage yet keeping it vibrant, so we have used patterned tiles in the flooring, with a standalone semi-open multipurpose storage unit.
The centre wall, which falls between the director’s cabin and pantry, uses different cut-outs in MDF and finished in paint which adds up to the space.
This cabin falls behind the reception partition and uses MDF with grooves, giving a beautiful texture to the wall.
The other sides are finished in fabrication with a combination of clear and fluted glass that allows ample day light to pass, making the space look visually bigger.
The conference room required a seating of 7 people, and to achieve that we have rounded the edges of the table to meet our client’s requirements while maintaining its aesthetic. The finishing of the wall panelling is in veneer along with black back glass to break the monotony of veneer.
The table is finished in veneer with corian edges, while the ceiling is designed using wooden pergolas with hanging lights and track lights on the sides. Due to the constraint of daylight in the office, we have given clear and fluted glass partition to make the office light and airy.
For the Director’s cabin, we have used veneer as the primary material. Our focal wall behind the table has veneer finishing and cut-out of the Italian marble to garner a rich look. We have given a layering effect to the arches on the door with subtle colour gradation.
The doors are finished using veneer and patterned MDF in paint finish. The neat, filleted edge on one corner contributes to the designing factor.
