As one enters in the house, the journey begins a cosy foyer finished with rich veneer and contrast wallpaper. The dim lamps just complements the mood. The foyer opens up into a seamless space for linear living. The living room is richly layered and textured with a judicious mix of materials, which extends into the choice of furniture, furnishings and artwork.

The veneer and its pattern is even replicated into the false ceiling. The brick cladding from ‘Flexstone’ has proved a cherry on top. The centre tables are customised and crafted onsite. The set of two tables offers flexibility of being used separately in a linear space. Another corner of living room gives a spark with the blue oversized single-seater sofa. The east corner of house resides the painting of God Shrinathji.

The panel of T.V. gives privacy as well as spatial separation to the dining and kitchen.

The dining tabletop from Italian marble with inlay of black Italian, the sleek leg of the table and the stunning bench completes the look of dining area. The painting by artist Rajul Shah brings the exact amount of contrast to the space.

While walking further on the house, the stark white long passage is punctuated by brown Pu finished window of the study room. The interior of study room follows the muted aesthetic of pastels giving very spacious look. Greys of wall and coloured mdf with peach and white provides a contemporary flavour. The trendy chair and customised book shelf is a twist identity to the design and adding a young vibe to the space.

The parent’s bedroom has used a large amount of veneer and teak wood punched with different shade of yellows. The wave pattern on bold yellow mdf strikes one’s eyes. 9 set of paintings by artist Rajul Shah created in same colour palette merges with the interiors. The master bedroom is in white and green tones.

There is an effort made to keep vintage yet contemporary. The traditional cut designs in bedback and side table are finished in a modern PU way. Use of tradition printed wallpaper and fabrics and wiched shutter of cabinet are the fusion of old and new. The high bed back proclaims right of ownership. Chest of drawers and mirror has tried to create a royal look.

The entire customized furniture and tailored upholstery celebrates beauty and craftsmanship of the house.Experimentation with the right stroke of simplistic design and choosing of accessories and correct artwork creates a beautiful and rhythmic substance inhabitable with comfort and luxury.
