We took this challenge of transforming this compact space, into a versatile and adaptable space in all forms. Giving an informal feel to a formal setting, alter from private to semi private area, with a display for beautiful expression and combination of materials. Reimagining scales, patterns and texture and using distinctive materials gives warmth to the space. Extensive use of glass, creates a blur boundary between the private and semi-private space. To break the monotony of bricks and natural wood, we incorporated a hint of green that helps to create drama although keeping the subtlety of space intact.
‘Can Walls Talk?’ – That’s how we began our journey, with one unique client with his unique problem. The client approached us with a unique challenge – to create an office space that broke away from the norm of modernism and instead embraced an earthy, natural aesthetic.
The space in question was a compact 350 sq.ft area that needed to be transformed into a versatile and adaptable space that could transition from formal to informal settings. He wanted a workspace that’s motivates him every day.
We set out to create a narrative of informal space with the use of design nuances and multiple textures. Using distinctive materials such as natural wood and bricks, we aimed to give warmth to the space. To break the monotony, we incorporated a hint of green that helped to add drama while still maintaining the subtlety of the space.
To create a sense of privacy & yet open we used extensive use of glass, which helped to blur the boundaries between private and semi-private spaces. The result was a space that was not only functional but also visually appealing, with a display of beautiful expressions and a combination of materials.
Overall, we were able to successfully transform the compact office space into a versatile and adaptable area that blended an informal feel with a formal setting, creating a unique and inviting space that was both functional and visually appealing.
“Silent walls will speak tales of time, etched in memories divine*” And that’s how we our work conveyed him.
