For about 25 years, the clients lived in a house that was a space of compromise. It was a structure that existed but never reflected their taste and preferences. Poor circulation, limited natural light, and the misalignment of furniture, walls, and design made the house feel disconnected. They never truly felt that the space belonged to them. When they decided to build a new home, they had just one brief. They wanted a home that felt alive, guided by the intelligence of Vastu and shaped around a sense of peace and personal belonging. Through efficient planning and bifurcation of space, this 2500 sqft. Triplex house seems larger than its actual size. The planning separates public and private spaces across different levels, giving each area room to breathe without overlap or congestion. Large windows, double-heighted areas, and light colours contribute to creating a fresh and airy atmosphere.
A Triplex House Designed Around Light, Space, and Vastu | Design Soul Interiors
In this triplex house, a glass partition acts as an organised backbone, defining separate zones while maintaining openness throughout the space. The spiral staircase serves as the central visual feature, with the floor marble extending seamlessly onto the staircase. A fluted wall design further enhances the elegance of the living area.
This living room is designed to feel open, calm, and welcoming.Soft curves in the ceiling and furniture create a smooth, flowing look instead of sharp edges.
Light colors, natural light, and minimal decor help the space feel bright and spacious.The seating is comfortable yet stylish making the room perfect for both relaxing and entertaining.
The double-height dining area enhances the sense of luxury in the triplex house. Floor-to-ceiling drapes soften the space, while an elongated marble garland light introduces a refined decorative element that elevates the overall aesthetic.
