Brief Given : The home owners, Deboleena and Piyush, came to us for a personalized experience. Right from the initial consultation, it was evident that this client had a deep appreciation for design and a clear vision for their dream interior. Based on the client’s vision, we embarked on crafting a design concept that would surpass their expectations. Designing an exceptional interior for a client who remained actively engaged and supportive throughout the entire process was an extraordinary experience.

Design Inspiration: The clients personally liked bold and bright colors, however, we as designers were trying to suggest a subtle tone for it to be a timeless design. Therefore, we tried mixing maximalist colors like yellow, terracotta, olive etc. in a way that it doesn’t overpower the entire space, thus giving them the vibe they want without the space being too cluttering.

Starting with the living room all the way to the kitchen and bedrooms, with a neutral color palette of soft browns, warm beiges, creamy whites, mixed with the perfect amount of wooden textures and bright shades, one can feel the blast of colors throughout. These hues are applied strategically to accentuate specific architectural features, furniture pieces, and decorative elements.

Traditional elements play a significant role in this design, creating a sense of heritage and cultural richness. Intricate woodwork, ornate carvings, and decorative motifs inspired by the local culture are incorporated throughout the space. These elements lend a touch of elegance and craftsmanship, blending seamlessly with the blocky color palette.

Lighting plays a crucial role in enhancing the ambiance and accentuating the design elements. A combination of natural light, accent lighting, and strategic placement of fixtures creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The best part of the project however was that we did not do any false ceilings throughout the home and instead played with layering of lights to give it an ambiance of luxury during night and use the natural lights to accentuate the hues during the day.

In conclusion, the home is a mix of lots of elements, patterns, textures, martials placed in a balanced way. Be it the sunset of the ocean themed kid’s bedroom, where all the colors are picked from a single natural photograph.

The master bedroom, which emphasizes on the wallpaper as the feature element and the rest of the room color blocking is done using the wallpaper colors itself, this home provides a luxury feeling without taking away the comfort vibe of a home.

The success of this project stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and the profound impact a supportive client can have on the design process.

The collaborative journey, rooted in trust, open communication, and shared enthusiasm, allowed us to create a truly remarkable space that aligned perfectly with the client’s vision.
