A Sustainable Villa With Contemporary Minimalist Architecture | Sbaspectra-Formations
This villa is not just about looks; it invites people to relax and to enjoy its exceptional comfort and elegance. It is a visual master piece with curated luxury. Designed with simple elements and muted earthy colors and tones in a contemporary minimalist style of architecture.
A volumetric experience—a heavy cubic mass extended over the entrance door, forming a welcoming entrance porch. The team designs the porch with a double-height stone façade wall, creating a barrier between the private garden space and the entrance pathway.
A grand hall right after the main entrance door with a grand seating arrangement on an elevated platform. Further, the team designs the background of the living seating arrangement with a metallic rustic finish wall and places a handcrafted humanoid structure at the focal viewpoint.
Rough cut burnt wooden paneling used at the back of Bar counter. Further, with application of high gloss acrylic mirror at its center. Also, the purpose of mirror is to magnify the reflection and scale up the feelings of openness.
The double height Dining hall overlooking the backyard. It has seamless visual connectivity from the living hall to the rear backyard. Moreover, the sudden height increase at the dining hall creates a volumetric contrast in the overall interior environment.
Also, the design connects the dining hall to the first-floor family leisure space through the double-height void. Furthermore, the team designs the double-height ceiling with a central 10 ft. high chandelier hanging over the dining table arrangement.
Bedrooms are designed with dedicated attached toilets and box rooms. Here, the primary goal was to make the bedroom free from storage spaces.
The wide bed back paneling in the master bedroom is designed with natural rough-cut stone paneling. Further, we have designed a backlit glow moonlight element over natural stone paneling as a key feature of the room.
The back yard to the building has a perforated terracotta screen. It allows natural air to come in but acts as a visual guard from the outside to ensure privacy. The backyard is connected to the double-height dining space. We have put a retractable glass wall system between the dining hall and the backyard. The amalgamation of the backyard and dining area will act as a big family gathering space during festivals, when the glass wall is open. GI sliding panels used with contemporary design to keep security to the internal space.
One rain panel is installed in the backyard with an interesting lighting feature. The entire backyard is designed as an extension of the internal dining space, guarded with natural terracotta screens and foliage.
