It’s one of the row houses in a society with approximately 60 other houses located in Nagpur, Maharashtra. All these row houses were constructed in the year 2004. Our clients Mr. Hemant Barai and Mrs. Pooja Barai purchased this house in the year 2021 and handed it over to us for renovation. Team B and B Associates Designed the entire interior and exterior area and executed it as well. The plot consists of A 3BHK row house studded with modern amenities and design style.

As per the client’s requirement, this 3 BHK house has been designed for 6 people which includes 2 clients, 1 child and 3 parents. They needed a clean interior with bright colours and storage as much as possible because this house has no separate store room. We have kept all walls white to make the space look bigger and used brighter colours in some elements like the bed back, curtains and in wardrobe panels.
The living room is the large and central area that leads to the kitchen, bedroom no. 1, staircase and attached to the puja area as well as a dining area.
It’s an area where maximum activity and circulation is happening in the house. Very light and neutral colours are used for the sofa and curtains to create a soothing effect in the same area.
Only brighter blue dining chairs are adding different character to the entire area. We have converted normal windows to box windows and added a few more sitting spaces in limited room sizes.
Kitchen is my client’s favorite room in the entire house. Beautiful ocean green colour with golden frames and handles in the kitchen cabinets elevating the look of the entire kitchen.
All other elements like the kitchen platform, backsplash and floor has kept crystal white to enhance the other colour.
In bedroom no. 1 on the ground floor, we have used bright yellow colour for the bed back and curtains and used the same fabric in wardrobe panels as well to complete the theme of that specific room.
Wallpaper has been used above the bed back with lighter colours to compliments the yellow colour in the room.
In bedroom no. 2 on the first floor, we have used a combination of beige, wooden and blue colours. Bed back and curtains are sharing the same colour palate.
We have used light beige coloured wallpaper above the bed back and a few golden metal strips to enhance the detailing of the area. Few cutouts in MDF board panels are enhancing the look of the room.
In the master bedroom on the first floor, we have used light pink deco paint for the bed back and study area with angular grooves to create a pattern.
We have used the same angular pattern in curtains also to match the theme of the room. We have kept wardrobe panels very simple and to enhance the look we have used golden handles to it.
False ceiling is kept very simple to avoid visual clutter in all rooms as room sizes are very restricted.
Overall working on this project with limited room sizes and an already constructed house was a challenge for us but we managed to fulfil all our client’s requirements and a happy client is the ultimate token we received at the end of this project.
