‘Saxenas Residence’ is a House designed for a Dynamic couple duo with shades of greys and browns with white Colors to create modern, minimalistic and contrasting spaces throughout the house. The client wanted a Modern, Minimalistic and Subtle interior design for their house. Though the Main resident of the House was just the couple, but on the weekend lots of friends and family members gather together for Game and Movie Nights. We needed to plan the space keeping in mind the crown gathering every week. A good amount of space to accommodate over night guests and lots of storage space. With ever decreasing sizes of the Houses it was a challenge to accommodate all of these things in the Given space.

Just as we enter the Living room, we see a long and sleek TV unit along with a sleek vertical storage unit. The Tv unit has two layers of paneling. The first layer is of thing Louvers of Brown Colour matching with the laminate and Black grooves creating very crisp and sharp back panel.
Above that is white satvario finish laminated panel. Below the panel is long horizontal unit of storage with open storage as we as set of drawers. on the opposite side of tv panel is the main long wall of the room divided in two parts. The first part is as we enter the room we have a Dynamic Wall panel with diagonal design pattern created on it that highlights the space.
The second part is a light grey wall with complementing art works on it. With a dark grey sofa cum bed creates contrast and serves the purpose to cater extra guests on the weekend. The light stone finished flooring complements the overall dark furniture and gives an elegant look to it.
The Owner wanted the dinning space to be such way that it doesn’t create obstacle for movement, they also required a crockery and bar unit in the small space that was provided for the dinning.
Keeping this in mind we planned a flooding dinning table for 4, with Solid Surface top for the table. the crockery cum bar unit was designed with mirror on the back to give it more depth and Rich look. RIght beside the dinning are is the basin and utility area which has been planned in such a way that everything stays hidden and properly ventilated. Behind the louvered doors is the space for washing machine and ample space for dry laundry above it.
As we reach the master bedroom we see Dark Backdrop for bed with Brown Louvers and Black stone finished laminate complementing the light coloured furniture all around.
Brown colour and louvers have been used throughout the house that act as the common Design element for the house. Due to space crunch folding side tables have been provided.
While designing the guest bedroom we had to keep in mind the dual function the the space that it was going to be used for. It was going to be used as part time office and part time bedroom for guests on weekends.
So we planned the work station on one side of the room that is being segregated by louvered partition from the bed. Behind the bed brown louvers have been used in symmetrical pattern along with a highlighting feature of wooden mosaic art work at the center. The overall colour combination of brown and grey makes the room look sharp elegant.
