  • Exhibiting Finesse of Modern Architecture with Indian Design Elements | CozyNest Interiors

The 10,500 sq ft villa spans over 4 levels including a basement, ground and first floor and a terrace. Each area has turned out true to the client’s needs of open spaces, understated luxury, kid-friendliness, and comfort for a large extended family with modern architecture. An inviting foyer anchored by a large aquarium, beautiful accessories and custom artwork leads into the living room with double-high ceilings and a trendy chandelier. Serene garden spaces ensconce the entire ground floor with green views from the living, dining, and kitchen areas.

The master bedroom on the first floor is truly palatial with high vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, seating areas and an uber-luxurious bathroom. Other rooms on this floor include two kids-rooms with a one-of-its-kind custom-made attic, playroom, home office, home gym, family room and a lounge area. The terrace upstairs has a large outdoor bar area and enough seating space for large parties.A swanky powder room and a posh guest bedroom add a lot of flair to this floor.

The parent’s bedroom has been lovingly customised with Sabyasachi wallpaper and Indian motifs, while the centre of attention being a bright red silk saree sandwiched in glass in the ceiling.

The piece-de-resistance of this home is the large basement which has become THE entertainment area for the family. With an extensive seating space, poker table, a large bar with onyx countertop and a high-tech home theatre, this area does attract the entire family and guests.

I used a material palette of exotic wood veneers, exquisite stone surfaces, exclusive fittings and intricate brass inlay work to uplift this home’s appeal, and meet the clients’ wishes. Each area in this house has been designed exquisitely and blends in beautifully with a sense of balance. The terrace upstairs has a large outdoor bar area and enough seating space for large parties.
