  • Aesthetically Pleasing Terrace With User Friendly Amenities : Project Unwind | Shivani Agrawal Interior Designer & Space Planner

During the saddening times of covid, our client came up with an idea of transforming their concrete terrace into a recreational space. With a bit of civil changes, we ended up creating an aesthetically pleasing terrace with user friendly amenities.

Aesthetically Pleasing Terrace With User Friendly Amenities : Project Unwind | Shivani Agrawal Interior Designer & Space Planner

Visit : Shivani Agrawal Interior Designer & Space Planner

‘Project unwind’ is a beautiful terrace garden created to enjoy time away from the regular to-do list. Terrace is located at one the residential premises in the city of Indore. Our ‘unwind’ terrace includes a cosy wooden cladded gazebo, a kitchenette, Moroccan bar area and various book reading spots.

The kabelu roofing on the gazebo top gives an earthen feel, complementing the rustic knots of wood, cladded on gazebo. White ceramic brick tiles on kitchen dado adds a dash of European culinary space. Bar area is designed using fluted glass as storage and Moroccan tiles at bar counter. Lustrous green grass on the entire floor adds soothing & calm vibe to the terrace.

Outdoor furniture made of rattan has been used in bone white colour, along with bright blue sunbrella tapestry to give serene aesthetics during a bright sunny day. The grand attraction of the terrace is a human scale ‘sculpture’ curated by renowned artist Mrs. Rachna Dave from Ahmedabad. The sculpture depicts thoughtful gestures, sitting at the top of bar unit, unwinding itself from chaos of the world.
