We were approached by Priyanka to design her holiday home in the enchanting hill station of Coonoor, amidst the sprawling tea gardens. It was easy to understand her requirements since we had previously worked on a couple of projects with her. One look at the site and I knew my job as an interior designer just got easier as the site was enveloped with the most amazing views! This was one project where I wouldn’t complain about making site visits.

Most of the rooms have high ceilings so we used bamboo matting and stunning chandeliers to highlight it. We also used hardwood floors to add warmth to the rooms. Classic chesterfield sofas were teamed with a dramatic wicker day bed and coffee tables to create a welcoming drawing room.
A cosy fireplace with accent chairs on either side is the perfect space to unwind at the end of the day with your favourite book. The printed chairs of the dining table complemented the tile insets of the locally sourced dinner wagon and mirror. The pinewood clad family area has the perfect couch to sink into and binge watch your favourite show.
The master bedroom has a gorgeous tall solid wood headboard and a cozy reading chair. The guest room has a four poster bed in a pretty shade of aqua. A comfortable chaise lounge and botanical prints on the wall makes a picture perfect corner. The boys’ room features furniture in shades of grey. Cheery prints and ceramic lamps add a pop of colour to this room. Carefully handpicked accessories and rugs added the finishing touches.
All the rooms have an attached sit out with picturesque views of the tea estate, apt for a wonderful morning cup of tea. Relaxing in the gazebo, soaking in the sweeping views, comforted by the crackling fire- definitely makes it a perfect holiday home. Of course none of this would have been possible without the support of all the vendors involved.

For architect duo Rakshanda Moog and Dev Thakkar of Den Studio, designing their first home (and debut interior project) came together the way most meaningful things do. Gradually and instinctively. “We started with minimalism,” they say, “but somewhere along the way, the house asked for more character.” Perched on an upper floor with unobstructed views […]

From the very first glimpse, this home makes a quiet yet assertive statement — a story of considered elegance woven through the interplay of textures, geometry, and an emotive material palette. It isn’t just a residence, but a journey of values, and a deliberate pause from the chaos of urbanity. A poetic 4 bedroom design […]
Referred by his cousin, who initially approached us for a large residential bungalow, Dilip Jain sought our expertise for his newly purchased 4 BHK luxury apartment in Akota.
