“Sea and the Sky” Inspire This 4BHK Apartment | Nitara Interiors
The “Sea and the sky” inspire us, and we just let the birds fly in the space between. A glimpse of the recently completed 4bhk apartment by us. Amazing Client, who gave us a completely free hand in designing this space. The brief was clear to have a peaceful interior with a soothing color palette. Everything about this house was carefully thought out and deliberately placed, beginning from the painting of the sea and the sky merging at the horizon at the entry vestibule, to the birds hanging pendant light in the living room, or be it the extended headboard in one of the bedrooms.

The combination of oak with the blues worked wonders for us in the living and dining bays, the warmth of the natural oak ceiling was complimented well by the artistic blue waves on the wall and the white Italian flooring and Golden profiles added the luxury and the class this space so well deserved. We used neutral tones in the soft furnishing so as to not overshadow the overwhelming charm of the walls, floors, and the ceiling.
The master bedroom was designed to keep the natural tones of the world and the stark minimal grey, and we added a perfect pop of color in the plum headboard. The artwork for this room had the blue waves created with rolled acrylic on canvas.
The brief for parents bedroom was to have a classy and elegant look, we used the concept of extended headboard with golden pendant lamps hanging on the side tables ,earthy tones of beige and brown formed the color palette for this room. We just added a pop of color in the classic lounge chair with the ottoman.
The guest bedroom was designed more as a gathering space for the family members for an informal chat session or for a game of cards, though the room was the smallest of the lot we wanted maximum number of people to be fitted in , so we came up with the idea of low height large bed. We wanted the space to be clutter free and minimalistic. A dash of yellow was used to make the space vibrant and appealing.
The son’s bedroom was conceptualized keeping in mind the preference of a teenager, we didn’t want it to look like a conventional children’s rooms, however, we didn’t want it to look boring as well, that’s when we thought of getting the artwork in blues and grey on the backdrop of the bed. The bed headboard was an interesting mix of leather straps weaved into a mat, the Overall look was strikingly refreshing.
The passage needs a special emotion for the use of backlit stretch ceiling around the Buddha statue, and a tilted frame of profile light, which added a calm ambiance to the otherwise vibrant living room.
