The Story Of House With Fusion Of Lifestyle And Opulence | Studio 603

The Story Of House With Fusion Of Lifestyle And Opulence | Studio 603

The story of House began with a fusion of lifestyle and opulence in the abode. The challenge for a designer is to elaborate design which purely complements their personality and way of living. Alluring earthen color palette and richness of materials, textures enlighten spaces giving comfort to the inherent. The key idea of design is recalling the sensory experience. Each input in design talks about the continuity of the other space, element, or occupancy.

The abstract wall art in the form of golden birds emerging and leading us to the door of surprises. A few of them are highlighted in blue adding color to the white wall. A rustic jail door with the line, triangle, and square cuts in M.S. unfolds the geometry of the abstract wall art association. While PU finished veneer solid door and a long wooden handle states a strong elegant presence of inside. The Vestibule, a composition of white textured accent wall with a calm Buddha artifact, earthen finished wall-floor and a resemblance of jail design in wall tile, explodes visitors with numerous emotions and soothe it with the choice of warm tones.

A prominent linear corridor shows a path to different rooms and activities along with it. To encourage this journey and connectivity to the spaces adjoining, we draw pauses and walks in a pattern of the undulating wooden ceiling. A voyage of hidden secrets stored in the pace guided in the form of thin staggered embossed wooden strips and lights.

The geometrical pattern of Jali is readdressed as partition design of ‘Pooja’ place, an alteration of metal to wooden material which is a take on traditional design from contemporary design. In essence, the brass bell ornate in jail partition imitates senses of the holy shrine.

Each space and furniture is meticulously detailed to not to let the eye to settle in one place. From the choice of color of wall, cloth of curtains, sofas and chairs, to the art pieces are selected to elevate the formal atmosphere of the living room. The grey Italian stone and indirect lighting on identical wall visible to sitting composition give the space a sense of a subdued elegance. The glass-wood sliding doors isolate yet visually connect the formal living from other movements.

Warmth of walls in jute textured earthen sheets and wooden strips act as a backdrop to the bespoke furniture’s pronouncing luxury along with the sense of coziness for family. A hint of red color in form of sofa and wooden art piece enhance the space.

A large balcony space gives an indoor deck space with deck wood floor and lounge chairs to relax and enjoy the cool breeze.  The light wood polish and sea blue cloth of the chair dialect the nature calmness. The lush green ambience is achieved by the vertical plantation and wooden pergola with creepers. The cane work in glass-wood partition on all sides of deck breaks the monotony and gives connectivity with a sense of transparency.

The kitchen is planned to be an open and uncluttered, the shade of ivory, grey and wooden brown is reflected in the selection of quartz for platform, Italian dado stone, ivory glossy laminates at bottom and veneer for cabinets at top simulate with palette of the house and also indicate thoughtful application for user. The stone top dining table with brass finish support frame and the subtle brass inlays in wooden wall panel brings a sense of elegance and warmness to the dining. The brass basin and inlet water pipe is a design as a bespoke object.

The low height red cushion back with bed end couch and ottoman articulate the gracefulness of parent. Each element and decorative piece conveys simplicity with beauty.

The master bedroom is designed to emphasize the lifestyle of the owner. The combination of lines of wood and high sheen maroon cushioning back with hushed tones of grey and white democrats a harmonious and stylish atmosphere. Yet long lines and high back of materials imitate dominance. The use of black, white and brown in diverse components in this ensuite bathroom and walk in wardrobe is a definite character.

The guest bedroom with wood, glass, and green panels break the monotony and give a unique and informal sense of space. The other bedroom with artifacts and muted shades of cloth conceals the minimalism.
