Noida’s skyline has transformed dramatically over the past decade, evolving from satellite city to a sought-after address for families seeking the perfect balance between metropolitan convenience and suburban calm. Within this landscape of contemporary high-rises and gated communities, Parx Laureate stands as one of the city’s premier residential developments, offering spacious layouts that invite creative design interventions. It’s here, in this context of urban ambition meeting residential aspiration, that Casa Solace unfolds—a 4,550 sq. ft. family home designed by Smriti Mohanka of Introspecs Interior Design Studio.

The family home began with a conversation, as the best ones do. The clients articulated a clear vision: they wanted a home that would feel perpetually welcoming, a space where relaxation wasn’t just possible but inevitable. Their brief called for Vastu-compliant planning to ensure positive energy flow, while accommodating the distinct personalities within the family.
The children needed playful, activity-rich environments that would engage without overwhelming. The mother sought a peaceful retreat with soothing, neutral tones. The master suite would embody quiet luxury and refined elegance. What emerged from these conversations was a design language built on warmth, serenity, and adaptability. These are qualities that define every corner of this home.
Casa Solace is a family home that distinguishes itself through a commitment to soft, curved forms. They reject the hard edges of conventional minimalism. Gentle arches, rhythmic fluting, and layered textures create depth without visual clutter. Custom MDF and HDHMR panels flow across walls in graceful grooves. The painted finishes lend a thorough quality that feels both contemporary and enduring. The colour palette whispers rather than shouts. Earthy browns, creamy beiges, muted pastels, and soft neutrals shift subtly with natural light throughout the day. It allows the architecture itself to take centre stage while maintaining an atmosphere of calm.
One of the most compelling challenges was dividing the home’s generous open areas into distinct zones without sacrificing spaciousness. The solution came through custom-designed decorative metal partitions in brushed brass, sleek structures that required sample testing to achieve the perfect balance of delicacy and strength.
These partitions act as visual dividers while allowing light and sightlines to flow freely, so the dining area, lounge, and living spaces feel both connected and purposefully defined. Partial dividers and subtle level changes guide movement without creating barriers, maintaining an openness that makes the home feel larger than its footprint suggests.
Every major element in Casa Solace was designed specifically for this family and this space. The children’s room balances playfulness with longevity through a custom-built bunk bed with integrated climbing wall and magnetic activity boards; an environment that encourages creativity and physical activity. Pastel-toned study units with rounded edges ensure safety while providing ample workspace.
Rather than a theme-heavy design that quickly dates, the room uses mature colours and forms that will grow with the child. The mandir offers another bespoke moment: a serene spiritual space with custom painted cabinetry, religious motifs, and brass bell detailing that honours tradition while embracing modern minimalism.
Material selection reflects both aesthetic impact and practical durability. Veneer panelling brings natural richness, while brushed brass and gold-finish metals add subtle glamour through handles, fixtures, and decorative elements.
Upholstered furniture in carefully selected fabrics and leatherette provides comfort and visual softness. Lighting, integrated within ceiling coves and panel grooves through warm LED systems creates ambient washes that highlight textures and architectural details, while decorative sconces and pendants serve as sculptural accents.
What Smriti Mohanka and her team at Introspecs Interior Design Studio have achieved is an equilibrium—a home that looks curated yet feels effortlessly livable, where aesthetics serve function and custom elements are purpose-driven.
Casa Solace doesn’t just accommodate its inhabitants; it actively enhances their quality of life through thoughtful spatial planning, carefully selected materials, and a design language that prioritises comfort and connection above all.
