A Philosophy of Soft Minimalism and bespoke interiors are the design narrative, masterminded by P.ine Studio. It is defined by its immediate refusal of the sharp edge. This home is a masterclass in soft minimalism, employing a philosophy that consciously blurs architectural boundaries to create a serene sanctuary.

The architects enveloped the primary public spaces in Microconcrete textured walls, lending a monolithic softness that makes the structure itself feel pliable. In a move that celebrates necessity, they rounded a massive structural pillar in the dining area into a gentle, flowing curve. They integrated bespoke shelving and transformed a structural requirement into a sculptural anchor. “The aim was to make the bespoke interiors design breathe. We didn’t want walls; we wanted soft volumes, sculpted by light, not by corner.”
Look up, and the traditional cap of the ceiling disappears. Replacing flat planes are fluidic coves and recessed curves that delicately peel away from the roofline. This subtle rippling effect eliminates the visual clutter of traditional heavy chandeliers, instead utilizing concealed lighting that washes the textured walls in an ethereal, gentle glow.
The home’s exquisite relationship with natural light is perhaps its most compelling feature. Open-weave mesh drapery dresses the windows instead of standard sheers. These highly textural curtains act as a meticulous sieve, casting rhythmic, geometric shadows that dance across the micro-concrete floors and plush, neutral-toned rugs. As the sun traverses the sky, the light patterns shift, creating a living, breathing ambience, a spectacle of light and shadow that changes with the passing hour.
Within the neutral, curvilinear shell, high-impact design details introduce necessary contrast and structure. The furniture selection operates on the principle of “art as function.” Nested wooden coffee tables, carved into hollow, torus like shapes holds center stage. These sculptural forms mirror the organic flow of the ceiling above. Thus, grounding the room in a quiet sophistication and bespoke interiors.
Structural definition is introduced through the application of statement hardware. A dark, matte-finished console commands attention, punctuated by oversized, spherical brass handles that are less functional knobs and more like miniature planetary bodies adhering to the surface. This interplay of dark wood, bright metal, and the neutral palette is a hallmark of the home’s refined material vocabulary.
The “curvilinear” ethos flows seamlessly into the private quarters, adopting a more intimate and tactile register. The bedrooms elevate the experience through intricate paneling and textured details:● Rhythmic Verticality: One suite features floor-to-ceiling vertical striped paneling, artfully paired with a dramatic curved, suspended light fixture to heighten the sense of space and rhythm.● Slatted Warmth: Another sanctuary utilizes a spindle-style headboard, where thin wood slats create an impression of transparency and airiness, flawlessly flanked by charming mushroom-profile bedside lamps.
The House of Grasslands is a contemporary masterpiece, a testament to the beauty of thoughtful restraint. By prioritizing fluid movement, mesh textures, and the purity of rounded forms, it achieves that rare and coveted balance between the “perfectly imperfect” nature of WabiSabi and luxurious modern comfort. It is not a home built on excess, but on the profound purity of the sensory experience.
