At the heart of this project lies a pursuit of understated luxury, where quiet luxury interior design is not just about aesthetic appeal but about evoking a sense of calm, clarity, and comfort. The space was envisioned as a sanctuary—elegant yet approachable, luxurious yet livable. With clean lines, tactile materials, and a muted tonal palette, the home fosters an environment that promotes both social interaction and quiet reflection.
The design takes a human-centric approach, creating zones that seamlessly transition between functionality and relaxation. Every element—from the expansive sectional sofa to the sheer drapes—has been carefully selected to support the rhythms of daily life while offering visual softness and cohesion. The muted color palette—anchored by shades of taupe, ivory, and brushed gold—draws from nature’s own serenity, creating a visual flow that is both grounding and expansive.

The Entry Way
Minimal yet impactful, the entryway’s interplay of veneer, hand carved grid detail on the door, and stone base reflects timeless material honesty.
The living area is anchored by an expansive sectional in soft taupe leather—its plush form inviting relaxation while maintaining a sleek silhouette. Layered sheer drapes frame the full-length windows, gently diffusing daylight and adding a soft, airy glow to the room.
A clean-lined marble coffee table and tonal area rug further enhance the sense of quiet luxury, while sculptural decor elements introduce artistic flair without overwhelming the design.
Moving to the TV unit, the backdrop transforms into a striking composition of natural stone, where dramatic veining creates an almost abstract artwork effect behind the television. Warm vertical wooden panels balance this bold surface with a sense of earthiness and warmth, giving the space a grounded yet polished feel.
A key design feature in this residence is the seamlessly integrated hidden doors that lead to the guest room and bathrooms. Clad in the same wooden paneling as the surrounding walls, these doors are designed to remain visually undetectable, maintaining the continuity and minimalism of the space.
Continuing the neutral narrative, the dining area features textured ivory chairs around a stone-finished table, evoking cozy sophistication. A statement glass panel behind the setup adds subtle drama, anchoring the space with depth and dimension.
Executed in a crisp white palette, the kitchen balances functionality with visual lightness. Marble surfaces with subtle veining add softness, while in-built appliances and an open-plan layout (achieved by demolishing the former store room) optimize spatial flow. The result: a compact kitchen that feels open, efficient, and elevated.
Moving through the house, the Mandir unveils a masterpiece—rooted in modernism yet deeply spiritual. It celebrates an intimate setting wrapped in golden warmth and spiritual symbolism.
Across all three bedrooms, a warm minimalist aesthetic prevails, marked by natural materials, abundant daylight, and quiet sophistication. Each room carries its own identity. Soft earth tones and layered textiles envelop the master suite, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Marble-accented walls and moody greys introduce a distinctly contemporary feel. In contrast, the third room offers a neutral palette with refined restraint.
Clean lines, soft lighting, and thoughtful details come together to form private sanctuaries that are calming, cohesive, and deeply personal.
This apartment is more than a design showcase—it’s a place of pause and presence. Studio Chitra’s thoughtful approach reveals that luxury lies not in excess, but in intention.
Through its tactile materiality, seamless transitions, and quiet elegance, the home becomes a true reflection of calm, contemporary living in the heart of Ahmedabad.
A standout feature, the balcony blends comfort and creativity. Curved LED strips inlaid into the ceiling create an artistic constellation of light. They give the compact outdoor space a bold, futuristic edge—perfect for moments of pause and reflection.
