At The Iroko Jade, we set out to create a space that feels like a natural extension of its surroundings—designed for a young couple Rohan and Naina living in Bangalore. The house evokes a sense of peace. Raw interiors yet refined, minimal yet inviting. The design sought to weave a narrative of calm and connection, with raw texture surfaces, wood, and soothing colors at the forefront of our vision.

The Iroko Jade Combines Raw Interiors with Natural Calm and Connection | House of Artistry
The foyer featuring a sleek shoe rack crafted from wood and rattan, placed against a textured wall. As you step into the living area, it sets the tone for the home with its inviting simplicity, the serene beige tones create an expansive, airy feel, with subtle accents of sage bringing a touch of warmth and nature.
The design is minimalist, with clean lines and an open flow, allowing light and space to define the mood. The result is a calming, uncluttered environment that effortlessly blends comfort and elegance.
A solid wood dining table sits beneath soft lighting, creating an intimate space for shared meals. A wooden bar cabinet sits next to the table. A teak wood door separates this area from the kitchen, adding a touch of natural sophistication.
When opened, the door reveals a streamlined kitchen with clean lines and sleek cabinetry, complementing the minimalistic aesthetic. The seamless transition between the two spaces enhances the home’s open, airy feel while maintaining a sense of functional separation.
This bedroom displays warmth and character, continuing with raw-textured walls, with the rafter paneling on the headboard. Above the headboard, we created a inhouse custom piece of contemporary art for this wall which is placed asymmetrically.
Soft, neutral tones tie everything together, making this space a perfect blend of comfort, artistry, and natural beauty—an inviting retreat to unwind and relax.
The raw-textured walls bring an earthy charm, and the warm wooden back paneling adds a sense of calm and intimacy. A small, simple side table keeps the space clutter-free, allowing the room to feel open and relaxed.
Soft, neutral tones wrap the space in a comforting embrace, creating the perfect environment for rest. Every detail, from the materials to the layout, is designed to make the room feel like a true home—welcoming, peaceful, and effortlessly lived-in.
