Making A Style Statement -Apartment Interiors | Traansformation Design Studio

For this two-bedroom apartment interiors, home to Rashmin Sharma and Amruta Sharma, a key challenge was to provide their space with the maximum possible storage and yet manage to retain the spacious and stylish look and feel that was desired. The spaces are very warm and cozy designed keeping in mind the vaastu parameters as well as there is ample provision for natural light and ventilation.

Every design decision taken revolves around their youngest one-year-old baby, likewise, furniture details have been worked out very cautiously.

Each room, each space narrates a different story. The house is richly layered with a judicious mix of materials, extending onto furniture, furnishings, and artwork.

The main entrance door is all dressed up in glossy veneer and wooden geometrically shaped highlighters. The huge pyramid quietly sits over the enchanting door.

The Living room is welcoming with all its charismatic grandeur. The TV paneling stands out owing to the smoked teak veneer which extends towards the kitchen wall, niches and drawers in champagne leafing adds to the richness of the TV unit. The retro hanging light with the mesmerizing wall light compliments the dining area.

A dramatic rose gold mirror from address home glorifies the back wall in the seating area while the two wall lights at both the sides add to its glamour. Existing sitting area converts into a bar with just a touch with one of a kind center table.

The Kitchen has been totally revamped giving it a spacious feel with ample storage options. Kitchen being the heart of the home, it has been planned according to all the acute requirements of the homemaker. Hafele fittings and accessories makes it a class apart.

The passage at the centre of the house,i.e. the Brahmasthan is blessed with a mesmerizing wall mural of the auspicious deity, Lord Shiva. The designers collaborated with well-known artists to fabricate the same which is literally the Centre Of Attraction.

The Master bedroom is a mix of dark and classy hues. Splashes of rich colours make the space enthralling. The veneered ceiling with the antique fan from Fanzart adds to the splendor of the room. The sliding wardrobe extends further to form a TV unit which is pleasing to the eye. The attached washroom is finished using white staturio tiles, which is complemented by Duravit sanitary fittings adding value to the couple’s space.

The children cum parents bedroom is ingeniously designed to house the two different generations, their Mother and daughters. This bedroom is a subtle mix of colours with a bed that has a fabric paneled back at the center. The room is a balanced play of angular lines. The vibrant veneer is used in the right proportions to strike a right balance and simple grooves have been used in wardrobe and ceiling to adopt to the concept of the room.

Comfortable seating spaces have been created in both the bedrooms which are aesthetically elegant. Dressing units have been inbuilt in storages and wardrobes.

The balcony space also underwent significant changes to suit the homeowners’ needs and taste. It is refreshed with artificial grass, also concealing a shoe unit and a duct window inside. The vintage wall lights add to the drama. The ceiling was dressed with shera board panel making the balcony area look plush and vibrant.

Flooring throughout the house is in crema Vittoria sourced from NITCO Marble. The State of the art technologies have been used in the apartment making the home smart. Fully motorized curtains and blinds and electrical gadgets adds to the assets of the tech-savvy client.
