Concept

In embarking on this design journey, the vision for this home was to blend contemporary aesthetics with timeless elegance. Moreover, it carefully aligns with the client’s unique needs and lifestyles. The nuclear couple, with the wife being a photographer, required a space that not only served as a serene residence but also incorporated a functional studio within one of the bedrooms. Their desire for a home exuding subtle luxury and personal flair guided the design process. Additionally, emphasises a minimal approach while celebrating raw, natural materials.

Through meticulous planning and intricate space development, we created a sophisticated environment that marries modern design with personalized expression. This curated home meets the couple’s functional needs while elevating their living experience. As a result, a space that is visually captivating and effortlessly timeless. Embracing a minimalist approach, it celebrates warm tones with natural oak wood in lighter hues and integrated lighting. Moreover, each space is defined by elegant simplicity, with lighting playing a pivotal role in creating a harmonious and sophisticated ambience.

Living Room

The living room of this residence is designed to leave a lasting impression. Thus, reflecting the timeless grace envisioned by the homeowners. With a palette of soothing monochromatic and earthen hues, the space exudes serene harmony and tranquility. However, the design prioritizes spaciousness, using strategically selected materials to create a luxurious yet inviting retreat. Natural light floods the room, highlighting the homogenous cement tile flooring and the thoughtfully arranged furniture.

Furniture

The modern furniture, grounded by a soft grey carpet, harmonizes effortlessly with the room’s architecture. Meanwhile, the walls display a refined combination of 2.5 ft veneer panelling and crisp whitewashed surfaces, adding depth and warmth. A striking wall carpet becomes the focal point, celebrating textiles as art and adding a unique visual dimension. Anchored by soft-textured modern sofas and a custom chair, the living room features a statement table framed by a focal wall. It embodies visual poetry. Subtle autumn shades in the artwork, along with meticulous use of geometry, grooves, and textures, complete the minimalist yet luxurious ambience. As a result, this 4-BHK apartment becomes a sanctuary of understated elegance.

Seamlessly linked to the kitchen, the flow between the two spaces is unified through the consistent use of refined materials.

Kitchen

The kitchen itself features a mosaic tile wall, where subtle grids and gentle lines add a sharpness to the design. Accents of black, introduced through chimneys and kitchen accessories, punctuate the space, complementing the warmth of the wooden elements and muted tones. Altogether, the dining area and kitchen form a cohesive, elegant environment that embodies both style and practicality.
