This Apartment Building Facility is Conducive to Wellness | PiNiK_The Architect’s Design Studio
Ar. Piyush Chandwani of PiNiK Design Studio embraced this challenge, transforming it into a testament to meticulous attention to detail. His vision aimed at providing residents with ample opportunities to unwind and engage. Spanning 1350 sq. ft., this building facility stands as an integral part of a residential project in Amravati, catering to approximately 240 units.
Seamlessly connecting two residential towers, the amenity space curated features a welcoming lobby, vibrant kids’ area, toddlers’ zone, indoor gaming area, and various casual seating options. It caters to diverse interests and age groups, fostering inclusivity and unity within the community.
The circulation and layout of the amenity space prioritize fostering a seamless and free-flowing environment to encourage connectivity and engagement among residents.
Two distinct semi-open zones cater specifically to the needs of toddlers and children. Along with this strategically placed casual seating areas allowing parents to supervise while enjoying moments of respite.
Embracing openness and fluidity, the design philosophy eliminates barriers to facilitate easy movement and interaction throughout the space. Small clusters of casual seating arrangements invite spontaneous gatherings and conversations, enhancing the sense of community.
Central to the design is creating an inclusive and dynamic atmosphere, allowing residents to effortlessly transition between areas. Additionally, this cohesive circulation plan ensures every corner remains accessible and interconnected, promoting exploration and discovery.
In addition to recreational zones, essential amenities such as a strategically positioned toilet block are seamlessly integrated without disrupting the overall flow of the space.
The interiors radiate a playful ambience with cool colours like white, yellow, and shades of green. Mirrors strategically expand the perception of space, while movable furniture offers versatility, allowing for various seating arrangements and fostering social interaction among residents.
Furthermore, the amenity space boasts a vibrant kids’ zone with interactive games and a captivating interactive wall, catering to the younger demographic. Meanwhile, the toddlers’ area showcases whimsical geometric patterns in the furniture, stimulating their imagination and creativity.
The indoor games spread across the area provide entertainment options for all ages. Thus, enhancing the overall experience and ensuring residents can relax, socialize, and engage in recreational activities within the comfort of their community.
