This Scandinavian Apartment Offers a Serene and Eclectic Living Space | Buildbig Infracorp Pvt. Ltd.
Upon entering the living room, you are greeted by a blend of Scandinavian elegance and modern charm. The focal point is the tropical wallpaper adorning one of the walls, immediately drawing the eye with its vibrant colours and palm patterns. This feature in the scandinavian apartment is balanced by two plant pots with a luxurious golden finish, strategically placed to enhance the natural ambiance.
Adjacent to the tropical wallpaper, a wooden puff seat offers a cosy and inviting spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Moving across the scandinavian apartment, the wall is divided horizontally by a single wooden moulding. Below this moulding, the lower part of the wall is painted in a soothing beige tone, creating a grounding effect. Above, the upper part of the wall is painted in crisp white, adding brightness and a sense of airiness to the space.
The centrepiece of the seating area is a stylish off-white sofa, which complements the colour palette of the room perfectly. Its clean lines and minimalist design contribute to the Scandinavian aesthetic of the apartment while providing comfort and functionality. The overall ambience is one of harmony and balance, where natural elements harmonise with modern design principles, creating a space that is both inviting and visually appealing.
Directly in front of this feature wall, an off-white TV unit with curved ends continues the modern interior theme. The curved design elements of the TV unit complement the curves of the wall panel, creating a cohesive and balanced look. In front of the eclectic wallpaper, a black mild steel artefact unit stands tall and slender. This offers both functional storage and a stylish display area. This piece adds a contemporary edge while maintaining the room’s clean lines and minimalist appeal. Adding a touch of greenery, a spineless yucca plant in a white pot brings a natural element into the room, softening the modern decor with its simplicity and elegance. Together, these elements create a living room that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and harmonious, blending Scandinavian simplicity with modern sophistication and a hint of tropical flair.
As you enter the kitchen–dining area from the living room, a striking dark wooden frame with a graceful curve at the corner greets you, marking the transition between spaces. Passing through this inviting entrance, you notice the elegant pooja unit situated immediately to the left. The pooja unit features an openable fluted glass shutter framed in dark wood, adorned with delicate bells hanging between the shutter panels. Below the shutter, a functional beige laminate finish drawer offers convenient storage for religious items and accessories.
To the right of the pooja unit extends the spacious kitchen-dining area, seamlessly integrated yet distinctly defined. Dark wooden chairs appoint the dining area, complementing a pristine white dining table. The kitchen is meticulously designed to meet practical needs while enhancing aesthetic appeal. Lower kitchen cabinets boast a sleek beige laminate finish accented with black L-shape aluminium profiles, combining durability with a modern edge. Similarly, styled upper cabinets ensure ample storage space while maintaining a cohesive visual continuity throughout the kitchen area. A vertical open niche and fluted glass shutter serve as a stylish yet functional element within the kitchen, providing a showcase for decorative items or culinary essentials. The sophisticated combination of beige and dark wood laminate finishes enhances the overall ambience of the kitchen-dining area, embodying a minimalist approach that exudes contemporary elegance and functionality.
The bedroom boasts a harmonious blend of contemporary and minimalistic design elements, creating a serene and stylish retreat. The bed back is a striking feature with a combination of horizontal and vertical wooden frames. It is finished in a sophisticated grey laminate that mimics a marble texture. At the top of the bed back, a dark olive-green cushion adds a touch of comfort and colour contrast. Grey-coloured pillows and a purple textured bedsheet complement this ensemble, enhancing the overall cohesive look. Minimalist side tables flank the bed, adding to the design’s simplicity. They share the same finish as the bed.
Behind the bed, a curved frame creates an arch shape, adding an architectural interest to the room. Wallpaper adorned with a leaf pattern in various shades of brown decorates this frame, lending a natural and earthy vibe. The same arch shape repeats in the false ceiling, creating a seamless look that unifies the room’s design. A decorative light fixture hangs from the false ceiling above one of the side tables. It features a golden metal finish and two bulbs, casting a warm, inviting glow that enhances the room’s ambience.
The design of the openable wardrobe prioritizes functionality and style. It incorporates a niche for easy access, while its shutters showcase fluted laminate panels. At the bottom, drawers with a dark wood finish match the bed’s design, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic throughout the room. Adjacent to the wall frame, the dressing unit stands out with a mirror used as its shutter. The elegantly curved edges of the mirror echo the bedroom’s contemporary and minimal theme. This unit not only serves as a practical feature but also complements the room’s refined look.
The bedroom interior showcases a contemporary design with functional elements. Thus, it features a bed with a back designed in dark wooden finish laminate. It is adorned with vertical grooves at uneven distances. Complementing this is a horizontal burgundy cushion that aligns with the bed back and features elegantly curved ends. The side tables echo the bed’s dark wood finish, accented with grey and white laminate, embodying a modern aesthetic. A grey cushion and a black and white geometric-patterned bedsheet cover dress the bed. Thus, adding a stylish touch to the room.
Moreover, the dark grey textured laminate finishes the bedroom’s wardrobe, creating a sophisticated aesthetic. The wardrobe shutters feature horizontal niches that double as handles, finished in orange laminate to create a striking contrast. Overall, the bedroom exudes a contemporary and functional design. Thus, seamlessly blending style and practicality to create an inviting and efficient space.
A circular white false ceiling crowns the bedroom, with a linear downlight hanging over one of the side tables. This light fixture boasts a golden metal finish and a single bulb, adding a warm glow to the space. The wardrobe, featuring openable shutters with a grey laminate finish and black aluminium profile handles, provides ample storage. The bottom drawers match the dark wood finish of the bed, creating a cohesive look. Adjacent to the wardrobe, a minimalistic dressing unit stands out with its mirrored shutter, characterized by curved ends. This functional yet stylish piece enhances the overall contemporary feel of the bedroom, blending practicality with modern design.
The design of the smaller third bedroom maximizes space and functionality, incorporating a dedicated study area. The study table features a sleek white laminate finish. A black mild steel frame supports one end, its elegant curve adding a modern touch. Above the table, a horizontal open niche with a vibrant orange laminate finish provides a pop of colour and accessible storage. Above the niche, three vertical storage units add further practicality. The middle unit is open, perfect for displaying items. Meanwhile, the two adjacent units have openable solid shutters finished in white laminate, maintaining a clean and cohesive look.
In summary, the whole scandinavian apartment interior blends contemporary and Scandinavian design with minimalism through its thoughtful use of materials, textures, and forms. Thus, creating a tranquil and aesthetically pleasing space.
