Homes often portray a varied language of interior styles, different yet complementing nonetheless. With a carpet area of over 3200 sq. ft., this spacious haven houses four bedrooms in four corners of its blueprint, separated by common areas. For a vast canvas such as this that embraces various interior styles, the balance of semi-covered extensions is enticing. The indoors, private and familial, unfurl to their personal balcony. The testing times of the pandemic underscored the importance of semi-open spaces in high rises, leading to the realisation of this mindful insert. A central passage ties the spaces—the informal and formal living area, and the kitchen over pouring over the dining space.
A Vast Canvas Such As This Home Blends Various Interior Styles | Shreesh Design Studio LLP
For the entrance, the designers took it upon themselves to give the threshold a brighter and better sense of entrance, the first impression. And what better way to greet and welcome than some planters displayed among white grooved panelling under a focused light? As soon as one steps out of the elevator, they see a petite seating area set up in the corner.
The foyer oversees the customised console table, with a storage room hidden away on the side among the wooden strips. The welcoming aura is benign in its woody and white appearance, blending various interior styles. Upon walking ahead lies the central passage, constituting areas for family time. A swing and a dining space mark their place in the central spine.
The swing is erected from vintage carvings over the wooden skin tethered from leather straps. In this common passage, a puja area is tucked between the guest bedroom and kitchen. The soft, gentle, and milky light oozing from the stepped MDF panelling gives off an ethereal mood to the space. On the left lies the living room, the formal living space that imparts a daring impression on members and guests alike.
Here, the characteristics of a stated language of design are blurred. The deeper dive into exploring the ethically-driven living room came to the studio from the deep confines of their hearts. It felt like a missing puzzle that put the set together! The creamy-beige tone occupies the overall mood of the space, and then the carved work on furniture pieces takes the rest of the attention. The room draws its inspiration from the culturally rooted land of Kashmir.
The space is rich in patterns, from the flooring inlay to the selection of the rug and the engraving skills seen in the seating selection. Along with this, the artefacts and show pieces exude authenticity, adding to the Kashmiri mood concentrated here. The motifs of this space bring out an incredible feeling of rejoicing in the culturally teeming language. It has an effect that lies under the layers of wooden work and neutral colours.
The family seating/media room is straight up the passage, divided from the dining room through a see-through partition. Here, the modern and modular elements take a step forward. The wooden flooring separates the area from the rest of the floor.
It has a cosy appeal to it, with the lounge chairs lined with white cloth and a deep grey leather couch. An engraved painting overlooking the entire setting brings in an element of nature. Moreover, the leaf-shaped cutout of the coffee table complements this subtle theme.
The dining console seats six people and is placed at the prime spot in the house, for it absorbs its surroundings quite generously. With a marble tabletop, the intimate seating couples with the partition just standing on the side, lined with marble and structured with wood strips.
The wash area lies behind the dining room, plotting extravagance with the ceiling-touching mirror embraced by grooved panelling.
The kitchen is adjacent to the media room, exhibiting its love for shades of wood paired with white. The linear dimensions of this space accommodate enough storage while keeping a share for circulation.
The planning permits direct access to the kitchen and the wash area with a separate entrance at the back, not hindering the peace that settles within the house.
The bedrooms of this residence signify the spacious autonomy of their design. The blissful amalgamation of wooden veneer and white tones swathes the master bedroom.
The LED strips light up the room, brightening its mood. The artwork in the entryway follows the same colour palette as the rest of the room.
The parents’ bedroom follows a similar language to the master bedroom, following the warmth and comfort of white colour and wooden veneer.
The groove adds a bit of texture, sitting well with the white. Titan 54, in all its purpose to ace its design, inculcates artwork and regional pride into its being, enhancing its living to another level.
The guest bedroom features simpler means, with the bed back framed in a pastel blue shade. This gives the space the ideal edge for a sweet bedroom space.
The kid’s bedroom is situated on the opposite side. Upon entering through an archway, one encounters a marked study area on the side.
The box bed and window seating are raised by a half-step. Pastel shades are smeared on this zone, reflecting the kid’s quirk.
