From the start, houses are a concrete base to form bonds, strengthen relations and just be a haven for its residents. To be in sync with the gentle design approach of their idea, Design Studio Associates have erected an elegant home with dollop of natural light and subtle colors.
“The genius creation of fluted sheets can be seen in its durability, easy accessibility and usability, making it very easy and comfortable for the designers to opt for it”- Nishal Sevak(Co-Editor)

The living room’s elegant charm greets you upon opening the entrance door. The grey-coloured couches are arranged in an L-shape facing the television unit. The back wall in the living area has wooden and ivory-coloured panelling with satisfying and even fluting. While the wooden fluting is wider, the ivory-coloured flutings are minuscule. The impact has a subtle yet effective sense of style to it.
The ivory-coloured panelling is in accordance with the wooden panelling and makes up for a homely ambience. The object of art here is the light-brown fluted metal plates, bringing the place together and adding a different narrative to the space.
The circular dining space has an intimate and cosy feel to it. A chandelier adds an aesthetic vibe to the entire set-up. The grey shade and the texture of the dining chairs are perfect colours for brownish tones in the background. Adjacent to the dining space is the kitchen. It is equipped with basic amenities and a petite breakfast table for the residents to have a quick meal, adorned with elongated light fixtures with dotted lights at the end. The kitchen cabinets, smeared in grey and blue have a light and soft feel.
The open planning of these common family areas enables them to receive plenty of natural light, filtered graciously through the pure white blinds. The apartment resides 3 bedrooms with a similar language of design. The master bedroom pairs the dark complexion of veneers with shades of blue. The perfectly even fluting on the back of the bed complements the navy blue cushioning. The ornamental light fixtures on the sides of the bed and the chandelier only insert a decorative charm. The rustic-black wallpaper is a highlighting element.
The guest bedroom has a calming and soothing set-up. The filtered natural light penetrating through the blinds creates a mellow ambience and spotlights the beige and browns of the panelling into attention. The table lamps provide an ideal corner to read a book while lying on your side of the bed.
The third bedroom is indulged in a conscious effort for a darker environment. The white veins in the black backdrop and the dark veneer create such a classic look. The embellishment light sconces only add value to the overall setting. The span of the apartment doesn’t step back from its artistic inserts. There are framed pieces in every area adding value to the space. The commonality of fluted sheets for every space is the hit factor of the apartment. The variations of fluting, delicate, minute and wide explain the knack for details. The apartment has showcased the versatility and the sleek finishing of fluted sheets in all its glory.
