When the brand approaches us to design their space In Bhilwara, they left us the brief open to interpretation. “The owner wanted a space where they could display their curated range and host the bloggers models for shoot. They wanted a touch of traditional looks as the design sense of their brand.” They gave us free rein over the design process, which allowed us to translate the aesthetic ethos of the brand into the boutique interior in our own way. The design spells discreet luxury and dynamic harmony between the ethnic designer wear and the boutique space.

We brought traditional touch over contemporary feels. The brand works on the ethnic dresses hence, the studio design is a fusion of bold print into interior elements with a touch of modern essence.
It has the right degree of warmth and tastefully done up interiors that makes it feel akin to someone’s home. The space is situated in the slight outskirts of the city. They have their in-house manufacturing unit right behind the studio.
The space has been conceptualized in keeping with LAVANAYA’S DNA of taking inspiration from India’s heritage and reinventing the use of age-old techniques of handwork to make it relevant and modern for today’s generation.
The idea was to create a space that embraces you and envelops you in an ambience that is inspiring, while celebrating a design ethos that is modern India. A space that draws you within as it encourages you to discover every nook and corner, all at your own pace.
Aim was to create three screens in one space while keeping the whole look together for the owner to shoot and present their garments.
We aimed that every wall must reflect their brand, logo and style. Since this space is also going to be used as shoot space, we added a logo on both the walls. One screen- a minimal white wall with a bright golden logo bringing the warmth. a personalized hanger with natural greens embraces the whole character and upholds the ambience of the studio.
Second screen – A balanced blend of bright floral wallpaper with lustrous metallic gold logo and arches with lucent and minimal white colour scheme enhances the space. Captivating chandeliers, sleek lights are bringing both the screens together.
Third screen- we simply placed an antique mirror sourced from locals in Jodhpur paired with golden planters a display of their clothes. The mirror is reflecting the opposite wall and creating a fun space.
Since the project was budgeted and with a time limit of 1 month to finish before the festive season, we encouraged all the local vendors and artists from Rajasthan and it was beautifully done.
