Duende Designs
In Sanskrit, Kanaka means gold—a name that captures both the spirit and soul of this home. Much like the metal itself, the design gleams with permanence, heritage, and quiet radiance, weaving Indian artistry into a frame of modern ease. Kanaka, a 1700 sq.ft home where Indian elegance flows seamlessly into modern comfort.
The journey begins at the entrance with a radiant painting of Shrinath Ji, evoking devotion and timeless charm. Beyond it, the layered textures of the living room unfolds with a handcrafted swing, plush seating, and patterned rugs—where nostalgia meets everyday ease. The dining area, aglow with brass and crystal light, turns every meal into a shared ritual.
At its heart, the mandir holds stillness and reverence, opening into a lounge that stretches the idea of community. Niches, arches, and layered details build interest here, grounding the home in culture while keeping its lines refined.
