“Maroon Hive” is a vibrant and welcoming house that artfully marries bold, rich hues with fresh, airy tones, resulting in this exquisite interior design project. At the heart of this design is the striking use of maroon wall panelling, which infuses the home with warmth and depth. These bold maroon elements are elegantly balanced by the fresh white walls, creating a sense of spaciousness and lightness throughout the home. The harmonious interplay of these colours sets the tone for a sophisticated yet welcoming environment, perfect for modern living.

A distinctive highlight of the drawing room of this welcoming house is the organic ceiling design, which features soft contours reminiscent of rolling mountains. This ceiling, with its gentle, undulating lines, adds a dynamic and natural element to the space, creating a sense of movement and fluidity.
Complementing this ceiling design is a Japanese wallpaper that also depicts mountains, further enhancing the room’s serene and nature-inspired aesthetic.
The combination of the organic ceiling and the mountain-themed wallpaper evokes a sense of tranquility and connection to nature, making the drawing room a harmonious and calming gathering space.
Another standout feature of “Maroon Hive” is the innovative transformation of the servant room into a chic and functional study. By breaking down a wall and incorporating white French doors, we have created a serene work-from-home space that is both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
The white French doors not only enhance the room’s natural light but also offer a seamless transition between the study and the rest of the living area. This thoughtful design ensures that the study is a bright, airy retreat where productivity can flourish, making it a part of the main house.
The guest bedroom is designed with comfort and elegance in mind. Featuring petite wall paneling as the rest of the home, this room exudes a sense of coziness and sophistication. The design is simple yet refined, ensuring that guests feel welcomed and comfortable during their stay.
The easy and comfortable living space provided by the guest bedroom makes it an ideal retreat for visitors, offering them a home away from home, complete with an inbuilt dressing unit and also a study nook.
The master bedroom epitomizes the essence of monochrome Zen. Designed for a young couple, this space is a sanctuary of tranquility and simplicity.
The monochrome palette, featuring subtle variations of whites and warm buff, fosters a serene and calming atmosphere, ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Every element in the room is carefully chosen to enhance the sense of peace and balance. Thus making it a perfect haven for unwinding after a long day.
In contrast, the toddler’s bedroom is a playful and dynamic space. It stimulates the imagination while catering to the practical needs of a young child. The room features multiple cane hanging lights, which add a warm and whimsical touch, creating an inviting and fun environment.
Additionally, a utility wardrobe provides ample storage for the toddler’s belongings, ensuring that the room remains tidy and organized. This combination of playful lighting and practical storage solutions makes the toddler’s bedroom both delightful and functional.
“Maroon Hive” is a masterful blend of bold design choices and thoughtful functionality. The use of maroon wall paneling combined with fresh white walls creates a distinctive and harmonious aesthetic. This runs throughout the home. Each room is thoughtfully crafted to cater to its occupant’s unique needs, from the tranquil study and the monochrome Zen master bedroom. The playful toddler’s room and the welcoming guest bedroom add warmth and charm to the home’s design. “Maroon Hive” is a testament to the power of thoughtful design. Thus creating a living space that is both beautiful and practical, and perfectly suited for modern family life.
