  • This Modern Minimalist House Interior Redefines How People Experience Their Home | Olive

At Olive, we believe that design has the power to transform not just spaces, but also the way people experience their homes. When we first met our clients for this project, they had been living in their residence for years, holding onto a familiar vision of their space. The challenge was clear: to push beyond their expectations and create a modern minimalist house interior that would completely redefine their perception of home.

This Modern Minimalist House Interior Redefines How People Experience Their Home | Olive

Our journey started by getting to know their needs, preferences, and aspirations. We wanted every inch of the space to serve a purpose while adding beauty and comfort. We made certain civil changes in the bedrooms. Additionally, we also extended some windows to maximize natural light— because it makes rooms feel bigger, warmer, and more inviting while also cutting down the need for artificial lighting. Every element was curated to create a seamless flow between spaces. One of the biggest highlights was the introduction of two separate living areas—a formal space for guests and an informal one for family time. A sliding glass door between them ensures privacy while keeping the space connected. The result? A unique and practical layout that left our client in awe.

    Formal Living Area

This formal living space is all about quiet elegance and thoughtful details. The earthy palette, soft textures, and clean lines give it a grounded, welcoming feel.

We kept the styling minimal to let the furniture and natural light do the talking. That deep green sofa adds just the right amount of drama, while the marble coffee table ties everything together with a bold touch.

We used 3D cut mirror with CNC and frosted. We have created embedded Mahavir and Shloka, flower shaped bell which gives a modern look for the temple.

    Informal Living cum Dining

This informal living and dining area is the embodiment of effortless elegance and cozy sophistication. The palette is rooted in warm neutrals, complemented by soft textures and natural light that pours in through floor-to-ceiling drapes.

A stylish swing takes center stage by the window, inviting a moment of calm with a book and a cup of tea. The space flows seamlessly into a tastefully curated seating nook, where creamy-toned sofas and marble-topped tables create the perfect setting for relaxed gatherings.

The dining area is a bold statement of design, featuring a patterned table top that adds visual intrigue without overwhelming the serene aesthetic. Paired with sculptural chairs and a striking chandelier overhead, it blends functionality with flair. Delicate decor touches — from fresh flowers to curated shelves — give the space a lived-in charm, while still feeling polished and intentional.

    Guest Room

A warm, serene bedroom with muted tones and layered textures. The oversized mirror, soft pendant lights, and a bold pop of rust on the cushions add character to the calm, minimalist setup — cozy yet stylish.

    Master Bedroom

A cozy, modern bedroom with earthy tones and soft textures. The velvet green headboard, nature-inspired wall art, and minimalist decor create a calm, elegant vibe — perfect for unwinding.

    Parent Room

Soft, elegant, and soothing — this blush-toned bedroom pairs a velvet bed with a dreamy bamboo mural backdrop. Thoughtful lighting and earthy accents complete the calm, contemporary vibe.

    Kids’ Room

This kids’ room strikes the perfect balance between fun and functionality. The playful wall art instantly catches your eye, while the warm tones and soft textures create a cozy vibe.

We kept the study area clean and minimal, with just a few playful touches to keep it cheerful without being overwhelming. It’s a space that can grow with the child—simple, stylish, and full of personality.

The washroom brings a fresh twist to everyday routines. The textured mustard tiles add a playful vibe, while the terrazzo finish grounds the space with a fun yet earthy touch. We kept the vanity sleek and modern, with pops of color and just the right amount of whimsy to make it both functional and fun.
