Mr. Rajesh Vadgama reached out to Ar. Jay Thakkar through a mutual acquaintance after purchasing a residential plot. Following an initial meeting and several site visits, a concept for a compact yet luxurious Luxury House was developed. The final design featured an expansive, well-planned layout with a spacious living room, a double-height dining area that opens up to a deck, and a master bedroom with a walk-in closet, all tailored to meet the client’s vision for a refined and functional residence.

The architectural theme revolves around the concept of “the play of boxes,” with the primary design focus on a single cube that houses the master bedroom, painted in a striking terracotta red. Moreover, this cube is visually emphasized in the elevation, creating a bold focal point.
The master bedroom opens up to a large terrace, showcasing a black-and-white checkered flooring pattern, topped with a fabricated pergola mirroring the same design which also functions as a porch beneath, seamlessly integrating the indoor and outdoor spaces.
The elegant main door, adorned with a veneer finish and accented by an antique-finish metal profile, leads to a lavish living room on the left and a serene Pooja room on the right. The centerpiece of the living room is a striking fabricated staircase, meticulously designed to meet the client’s vision as a statement feature.
Beneath the staircase lies a versatile wooden deck, while another wooden deck outside the dining area features a privacy wall cleverly designed as a feature wall. The kitchen boasts a stunning combination of blue acrylic finish with subtle veneer accents. Additionally, the ground floor also includes a cozy guest room that doubles as a parents’ bedroom.
The elegant fabricated staircase, clad in wooden logs. Additionally, a railing of metal, wood, and glass, leads to a first-floor passage overlooking the double-height dining area below.
To the right is the master bedroom, styled in a rich and luxurious color palette. Its headboard, crafted from cement sheets and accented with metal profiles, seamlessly integrates with a flush bathroom door. Furthermore, the bathroom opens into a walk-in closet, followed by a master bath with a striking floor-mounted bathtub. On the left of the passage, the kids’ bedroom features a playful monochrome green theme. Additionally, it is highlighted by a candy-stick-inspired headboard & bed, along with PU-finished furniture.
The second floor features a versatile multipurpose hall designed with future adaptability in mind. By incorporating a partition, the space can effortlessly transform into a luxurious bedroom with an attached bathroom and a cozy family room with a pantry. Moreover, it opens onto an additional terrace.
