A discerning client with a keen eye for family living, detail and design has reimagined this 7BHK villa, nestled in the lush hills of Lonavala, as the perfect second home. The vision was clear: to create a warm, airy, and inviting retreat that balances grandeur with comfort—an escape from the everyday bustle of city life, while offering all the comforts of a luxurious family home.
This Home Reimagines Family Living And IS The Perfect Second Home | Kalash Architecture & The Sunday Project
The design intent was to curate spaces that feel easy-breezy yet elegant, with interiors that encourage both intimate family moments and vibrant weekend gatherings.
The designers styled every corner of the home to exude a subtle sense of vacation—refreshing, soulful, and effortlessly chic—while keeping it palatable and versatile for a large family.
The villa boasts expansive recreation zones, a generous living room, family lounges, and a massive pool deck designed for leisure and relaxation. The designers preserved and enhanced the soaring ceiling heights, ensuring the entire space feels open, expansive, and drenched in natural light.
The material palette leans heavily on natural finishes—warm woods, rich leather laminates, and neutral tones accented with greens across the space. These elements were thoughtfully layered to bring in both warmth and modern sophistication.
In essence, this villa is a curated sanctuary—one that resonates with the client’s refined tastes and the family’s desire for a home that is both a destination and a haven. It’s a place to slow down, rejuvenate, and celebrate togetherness—an oasis that feels both grand and deeply personal.
