Starting with the ground floor, the formal living room with a powder room is designed with burnt orange furniture as an accent piece and added color through the artwork.
The first floor houses a family lounge and two bedrooms, with the lounge dominated by teal blue upholstery and walls of dove grey.
The guest bedroom on this floor has a muted color pallet with its own walk-in wardrobe in awash of soft tones of beige.
The second bedroom on this floor is for the client’s parents who visit them once in a while. This bedrooms are a sanctuary of comfort and luxury, with padded headboards and walk-in closets. It is elegant, yet minimal.
The staircase rises to a foyer which leads to the two bedrooms and the home theater. The foyer has a customized shelving unit which also has hidden storage. The second floor features the master bedroom, the daughter’s bedroom, and a home theater.
The master bedroom has a grandeur feel with white marble on the floor, on the headboard and as a backdrop for the sofa in the room.
The headboard is designed into a curved shape which gives an eclectic look. Ceiling follows the curve design which is paneled with wood to match the rest of the room.
The daughter’s bedroom has a color palette of pinks & beige, with the distinctive headboard wall as the highlight of the room.
The home theater has a wooden floor and fully padded walls. Here, different types of lights such as fiber-optic lights are used, which are color-changing, providing a surreal experience of watching a movie under the starry sky.
Overall, the design approach is focused on detailing each design intervention and carefully picking materials to create a fresh and vibrant elegance, with an emphasis on comfort and luxury. The result is a beautiful and functional living space that perfectly suits the needs of the family.
