    Design Concept

    The Titagarh Towers project is an innovative interior architectural concept inspired by the rich , elegant, royal traditional British’s time themed office spaces. The design aims to optimize space utilization and energy efficiency in a unique and visually appealing manner.

    Crafting an Identity

    This project is not merely about aesthetics but about crafting an identity, a space where governance, corporate legacy, and Kolkata’s architectural sensibilities converge. The interiors stand as a metaphor for rooted strength and modern evolution, much like the city and the institution it houses.

    Embedding Art Deco Style Interiors

    The interior design for Titagarh Towers is a timeless homage to authority, prestige, and cultural refinement, capturing the elevated ambience of historic Indian government buildings while integrating a contemporary design vocabulary. The concept is rooted in rich wood finishes, luxurious Italian marble, and a restrained Art Deco style interior flair that speaks of silent opulence.

    The clients were very clear from the beginning regarding their requirement and provided us with full freedom in selection to material to design of every corner.

    Corridors & Lift Lobbies

    Paneled corridors with alternating wood and brass strip  wall segments is the main highlight of the walkway with brass skirting to add a finishing touch to junctions.We aimed for a  custom Art Deco patterned ceilings with moldings  and teak veneer coffered with indirect lighting.

    Conference Rooms & Boardrooms

    Central veneer topped large  boardroom table with power/data integration and concealed acoustic wood wall panels  and large curtain wall on 2sides providing a beautiful  view from the room. The double height wooden ceiling  with geometric brass inlay & wooden grid  in Art Deco style.

    Lighting Design Strategy

    Lighting in Titagarh Towers is layered, warm, and purpose-driven. Ambient light is mainly  Indirect cove lighting and Skirting lights (2700K–3000K). Also, wall washers highlight textured materials and feature art.

    Opulent chandeliers and pendants with brass and glass for focal elegance add soul to the area. While sleek individual adjustable task lights for each workspace.

    Executive Cabins

    The space is designed with full wood-paneled walls with integrated art deco ceiling  and hidden storage.

    The main  VCMD’s Wood  desk with marble credenza beside , highlighted by view from large windows on sides.

    The armchairs and sofas  are heritage-inspired and heavy linen drapes in neutral greys and brass curtain hardware.

    Conclusion

    The interiors of Titagarh Towers will stand as a monument of institutional power and cultured elegance. With a blend of fine materials, classic detailing, and timeless planning, the project becomes not just a workplace but a statement of influence, taste, and leadership. Further, rooted in Indian ethos with a modern outlook..
