A Harmonious Haven, nestled in the heart of Jaipur, the iconic pink city, built as modern style house by AVAI Studio. This residence sprawls gracefully over an expansive site, boasting a 7,500 sq. ft. built-up area. Transforming open spaces into an elevated lifestyle, the architecture & interiors epitomize the seamless fusion of simplicity and opulence. When the Clients approached Ar. Aastha Chaturvedi and Ar. Daksh Vyas. Their vision was clear: an elegant yet user-friendly home, bathed in natural light and gentle breezes.

Upon entering this modern style house, one is greeted by an impressive wooden door, crafted from polished teakwood in its rich, natural dark brown hue. This silent home, adorned with a striking checkerboard pattern and an elegantly wavy dark handle. The door has an arch-like puncture that channels light into the glass and wood paneled puja room. These panels encase a row of puja bells, which produce a melody whenever the door opens and a fresh breeze dances through.
Transforming space into a lifestyle. The simple format of a palette paired with rich materials in the Drawing Room, selected with the intention to allow the user to appreciate the qualities of texture and proportion while the furniture takes the center stage.
Within the heart of this modern style house, warmth is not merely a sensation; it’s a narrative woven into every fiber and hue. Sagwan wood whispers tales of heritage and resilience, while marble exudes opulence in its veins of stone. Brass lends its regal gleam to accents, duco adds a sleek modernity, and terracotta grounds the space with earthy charm.
In the living area, modern elegance melds with nature as furniture encircles a central oasis of greenery. Distinct volumes are delineated by textured layers, from luxurious wallpapers and texture paints to soft furnishings. The staircase become a communal focal point, further its elongated steps inviting shared moments of connection. Flanked by a verdant planter, it also intertwines nature into its design.
The dining area is a cool white slice of delight amidst the warmth of rich textures. It is illuminated by tall, wall-to-wall windows, whose rhythmic vertical design floods the space with natural light.
The cozy living space outside the bedrooms on the first floor is charming. A book and bar shelf, crafted to mimic the branches of a real tree, brings a touch of enchantment. Complementing the serene theme, a white bar area also provides the perfect addition.
Across the two floors of this abode, the bedrooms unfold like chapters in a carefully curated story. Each space is a testament to individuality, yet also united by an earthy palette that breathes warmth into every corner.
Upstairs, the son’s and daughter’s realms await, each a realm of its own. The son’s sanctuary is a grounding retreat, and also bathed in the hues of a fiery sunset and accented with playful pops of cane.
Meanwhile, the daughter’s domain is a confectionary dream, a two-story haven with her bed perched upon a whimsical mezzanine, wrapped in a palette of soft pinks that evoke sweet tranquil enchantment.
The pièce de résistance is the semi-shaded terrace, enclosed with terracotta jali. As daylight waltzes through its intricate patterns, the terrace becomes a canvas alive with captivating chiaroscuro, further inviting residents to immerse themselves in its enchanting ambiance.
