This charming 2BHK earthy house in Goregaon is a serene retreat for two doctors seeking a peaceful sanctuary after their hectic schedules. Their vision for the space was clear: soft, muted tones, gentle curved lines, and warm lighting that creates a calming atmosphere. These elements laid the perfect foundation for a modern, earthy design concept. The kitchen and bathrooms feature a subtle yet sophisticated play of colors, complemented by natural wood and cane accents, exactly as they envisioned, bringing their dream home to life.
This Earthy House Is An Ode To Nature-Inspired Design | Beyond Homes Studio
“The client’s vision was clear: ‘I have a cozy home, but I don’t want to feel like I’m fighting for space.’
This home belongs to a young couple—both doctors—who are meticulous about every detail of their first home’s interiors.” Rooted in an earthy modern concept, the design prominently features wood as the principal material, complemented by cane details and soft, curved edges for a warm and organic feel.
In the kitchen and bathrooms, a variety of tiles were carefully selected to enhance the character of each space. Ranging from printed patterns to tropical-inspired designs and rustic textures.
These material choices not only add depth and personality but also ensure durability and functionality throughout the home.
Staying true to the earthy modern concept, we redefined ‘earthy’ by drawing deeper inspiration from nature. Rather than limiting it to neutral tones, we incorporated nature-based elements throughout the design.
The kitchen features a soothing sage green, evoking the freshness of foliage, while the bathrooms showcase tropical and rustic tiles that symbolize the raw beauty of forests and natural rock formations.
These elements seamlessly blend to create a home that feels both grounded and connected to nature. One of my favorite design elements in this project is the oversized wall moldings in the living room, which add depth and timeless elegance to the space.
Another standout feature is the intricately designed curved corner ceiling running through the passage—an architectural detail that enhances fluidity and softness in the transition areas.
These carefully crafted details reinforce the home’s refined aesthetic, proving that even the smallest elements can make a significant impact
