This Dental Clinic Design Breaks The Stereotypes Of Clinical Spaces By Providing A Chic Look | D2D Architects

Carving a niche dental care design in the healthcare sector, located at Banjara hills, Hyderabad, Telangana. The architect wanted to elevate the spaces and make them feel cohesive. This dental clinic design breaks the stereotypes of clinical spaces by providing a chic look and welcoming vibe. There was a heightened focus on using materials like Copper metal sheets, natural oak, and white quartz, transforming the notion of using materials and lending the clinic a contemporary, elegant touch. Designed in the continual presence of nature, through planting inside and green vistas outside, the clinic provides a refreshing experience for its patients.

A well-designed clinic is essential for the well-being of the patients and healthcare providers that occupy the facility every day. Hence, the idea was to optimize patient experience through the design of the built environment by creating spaces that are relevant to the evolved generations of patients and the needs of the workforce. The clinic has been prudently planned to prioritize functional and easy movement.

Continuing the herringbone pattern wooden flooring design from the reception area to the lobby space, keeping other spaces neutral grey color flooring. A pure white storage cabinet housing everything the dentist requires for their procedures spans the entire length of the treatment area wall, complementing the louvers.

The rest of the clinic is partitioned into three main zones — waiting room, X-ray room, treatment area, and photographic room. The high tea is a secondary waiting space for the next immediate patient or family assisting the patient.

The high tea room has been designed in such a way that we have used 2 different wallpapers to create the change from the other space.

In the lobby space, we have used the skyline light on the ceiling to create an impact. Brush way area has been played with the striking white panda tile to break the aesthetic of the space.

An opulent copper finished logo was juxtaposed against the concrete texture wall. A small waiting area sits opposite the reception. Copper and grey and white tones accent the space, soothing the nerves of the patients visiting the clinic. A whimsical approach to the color combination, textures, and patterns, creates a welcoming yet eclectic atmosphere

The treatment areas are the active nodes of the clinic. Low ceiling heights with white color paint all over and clear glass partition touching to the ceiling, so that the space looks bigger and brighter.

D2d Architects paired materials like metal sheets with rough concrete texture paint, providing a contemporary aesthetic to Park Dental Care.

A common design language of metal paneled walls, oak wood flooring, grey concrete tones, and abundant planters characterizes each space differently while providing continuity and will withstand the taste of time giving the clinic softness and elegance in the ambiance.
