The Principal Architect Manan Bele says that the client desired to have a luxurious home with a contemporary design, to make it look luxurious and enhance its spatial feel. This aesthetic and modern house with sober landscape design offers a calm aura to the users. The material palate embraced neutral colours with an intent of seamlessly blending them this similarity of colours was contrasted by using materials of varying textures.

Editor’s note : The house, Mannat, explores two different horizons combining a modern yet retro feel in each of the spaces. Whether it is the mix of metal elements highlighted in various textures or the ornate chandeliers, the abode shines from within while keeping an interesting volumetric play in its architecture.  ~ Aditi Shah (editor)

The architecture of the house is driven by straight lines, cohered with striking contrast played by different textures and colour palettes. Because of the soothing exterior, the house appears to be in complete harmony with the surroundings, making the building eye-catchy. The first impression created is that of space and privacy. The imposing of different elements and projections is meaningful as “vibrant, classy, high-end and modern.”

A marvelous one wall of the exterior is characterized by a screen that provides privacy and shade while allowing natural light to filter through. These screens are made to create a visually striking and functional feature while the main entrance gate follows the same design pattern. The facades are embellished with lighting fixtures that highlight the exterior structure and MANNAT signage in black, establishing a bolder appearance.

At the entrance, you are greeted with mini greenery landscape elements and an interesting stone-cladded fence with cascade elements. The wooden texture ceiling in the sit-out area and the raw textured flooring blend with the landscape beautifully to provide a stunning experience to the user.

The main door is the first thing that gives the glims of an entire home. To give the earthy feeling designers have wooden panelling on the entrance wall. The customized main door jali and main door are inspired by arches elegantly décor for the entrance.

The living room boasts eye-pleasing materials used on the floor & walls. Art takes centre stage in this neoclassical influenced space with an elegant sea theme abstract art metal screening partition for formal and informal sitting. Textured wall décor complements the leatherette modern L-shape sofa and a marble top centre table.

The TV unit is well-ornated marble texture panelling with wooden battens, which nicely accentuates a modern console unit. While a wall clock art in metal adds a royal look to the TV unit wall. The lighting fixtures and an elegant ceiling design create a charming ambience in this living area.

A large window performed a great role to enjoy the view of landscape greenery in the living room which shows the natural meets-contemporary aesthetic elegantly.

The Dining Area plays to the light, giving a cheery ambience to meal times with a double-height ceiling. The breakfast counter plays as a separator for the dining and kitchen area which graciously acts as the backdrop for the dining.

The dining space exudes spaciousness and openness with an earthy feeling. A marble-top dining table and leatherette chairs create an eye-soothing décor element with a selected blind curtain. While an eye-soothing modern wash basin area ornated with earthy tone tiles cladding and a gold modern chic mirror.

The kitchen lies adjacent to the dining room, appearing as a seamless extension. Its aesthetic is minimal, Reflective finishes, defined by glossy cabinets and storage for the kitchen and a white top for the kitchen platform, give the space a sophisticated flourish.

A white-top breakfast unit with wooden decor and a crockery unit separates the dining area from the kitchen while maintaining a sense of uninterrupted flow. While lighting fixture adds charm to the décor and makes a pleasing contrast, adding character to interior space.

Overall, The MANNAT Residence is a beautiful and functional bungalow, designed to offer a luxurious and comfortable living experience. The innovative use of screens and different materials, combined with the elegant and sophisticated interior design, make this residence a true masterpiece of architectural excellence.

A rich colour canvas of wall art with an earthy tone is used as the main component of the material palate, specific corners were complementing the light material palettes.

Interior and exterior décor is juxtaposed by considering the quality of natural light, and the area of application to a specific ambience to the space based on functions and activities
