We at Studio AsA believe that workplace design should align with a firm’s vision and philosophy. When Digantara, a leading aerospace company, sought our expertise in designing their workplace, we saw an opportunity to design a space that mirrors the firm’s brand identity, a workplace that exhibits its technological prowess and its ambition to explore the cosmos’s limitless potential. The design for this aerospace company in Bangalore reimagines workspaces through bold and futuristic interiors.

Our team conducted in-depth research on how people experience the brand through design to create a workplace that would inspire innovation and productivity for occupants. We achieved this by developing an interior layout based on concentric circles, inspired by orbital paths in space. This architectural flow eliminated static, dead walls, promoting freedom of movement and encouraging experimentation and spontaneous interactions.
Materials were chosen carefully to create a space-like sanctuary. Natural stone veneers on the walls provide earthy grounding, while soft furnishings and rich wooden paneling combine with expansive glass windows to flood the workspace with natural light, reinforcing a sense of openness.
The ceiling design became a key element, guiding direction and movement. Each curve and light path were crafted to echo the orbital motion of planets, aiming to ensure that the workspace not only inspires but also instils a sense of purpose, making everyone feel that their work is vital and impactful.
One feature we are particularly proud of is the phone booth, enclosed by floor-to-ceiling glass panels with slim, dark aluminum framing. This design offers an open feel while maintaining sound privacy, with glass walls that allow natural light to enter, ensuring the booth feels spacious and transparent rather than confined.
Another standout feature is the CEO’s cabin, a serene space wrapped in earthy tones, with a striking glass front framing an expansive view of greenery. The silent area within the cabin includes a wall dedicated to books and a cozy corner featuring an Eames lounge chair, ideal for quiet reflection.
The space is finished with Shaw Contract Flooring to ensure optimal acoustics, while custom desks and tables made from sustainable materials by Tiace Furniture highlight our commitment to environmentally conscious design.
Also notable are the custom-made furniture and workstations, which curve into organic, flowing forms to create shared workspaces. Made from light-colored wood, these pieces add warmth and a natural feel to the environment.
A sense of futurism is evident throughout the project, particularly in the Mission Control Room, the command center for operations. This space was meticulously crafted to house cutting-edge technology, offering a distraction-free, efficient environment that reflects Digantara’s technological advancements and fosters uninterrupted innovation.
To bring a burst of energy, we introduced multiple informal gathering areas. One highlight is the café space, which includes a play area, a large island countertop clad in sleek black quartz and ceramic white tiles, and an open-cell ceiling that conceals the industrial structure above. Mild steel arches frame semi-private pods in the backdrop for informal team discussions.
In transforming Digantara’s workspace, we fused futuristic aesthetics with natural elements to craft a dynamic environment where innovation and creativity thrive. At Studio AsA, we shape workspaces that not only reflect ambition but inspire the future.

The clients’ requirement was to create a wellbeing centre at Oleander Farms, Karjat, Maharashtra, that would be a tranquil sanctuary for their visitors.
