This 3BHK Expanse is an Elegant, Spacious and Clutter Free Home | Hybrid Space Design

A 2485 Sq.ft which is the perfect fit for a family of four, the architect decided to give prominence to the kitchen and demolished common walls with one of the bedrooms to make it a heart of the home. This was challenging but practical change opened up the whole area to the freshness of lush green and waterfront. After careful designing, this 3BHK expanse is an elegant, spacious and clutter free home.
An extended dreamlike kitchen with separate wet and dry work spaces divided with monochrome printed tiles on the wet side floor and wooden flooring on the dry side enhanced the overall look. But certainly, the charm of space is the centrally curated island where the whole family surrounds and thanks for the home that is uniquely and distinctly designed.

This 3BHK Expanse is an Elegant, Spacious and Clutter Free Home | Hybrid Space Design

The client wanted an elegant, spacious and clutter free home. The hall is woven with natural light, the warmth of the sunrise view making it a soothing and uplifting space. Two elegantly and proportionally designed arches create the wings of the open plan towards kitchen and hand wash areas. Natural stone backdrop of the handwash unit and grunge looked laminate in the kitchen uplifted the overall look of home on the very first glance of any guest.

A neutral color palette incorporating custom made natural textures (manually done) with the composition of an Italian finish like Intonachino creates overall visual interest. The art on the backdrop of curves and fluted finishes throughout the home adds not only warmth but soul too.

Another place which catches the eye in the hall is living room with copious amount of natural light streaming in through the lake side balcony. To make the living area most lively, a bright mustard colour sofa is further accentuated with unapologetic white texture paint wall, visually segregated with teak shade wooden flooring and mid-century themed colourful TV unit.

While the hall (living/dining/drawing) exudes grandeur, the bedrooms are designed with a modern aesthetic sensibility. The generous use of materials such as wood, cane, PU, Italian textures, quartz, painted tiles, wooden flooring, fluted glass, profile lighting etc. adds an elevated and earthy feel to the rooms.

Behind the wooden table and customized white chesterfield sofa from “Rawpchic Esthetique”, overlapping half arched paneling over the base of painted half arch with earthy brown color onto the Italian texture create regalia in the drawing room.

The subtle composition of the memory wall with tinted oval glasses and owner’s picture frames elegantly centre stage the marvelous piece of dining table with natural Onyx top and olive green chair upholstery to match with the overall colour theme.

All bedrooms are designed as per the taste and lifestyle of owner couple and kids showcasing their areas of interest where they look forward to retreat every night.
