This 3BHK City Home Is A Refined Reflection Of Sophistication | PiNiK_The Architect’s Design Studio
The entrance of this city home sets the tone with understated grandeur. The backdrop wall is clad in Venzowood Hybrid Veneers, lending an organic depth with its fine grain. The space is framed with subtle lighting and minimal accents, allowing the richness of the material to speak for itself. A carefully selected console, paired with contemporary décor elements, provides a warm welcome while anchoring the transitional tone of the home.
The living area is a well-balanced ensemble of muted hues and soft finishes, punctuated by carefully curated forms. Upholstered furniture in tonal creams and taupes sits atop a soft-textured rug, creating a zone of comfort. The backdrop wall emerges as a focal feature, elegantly clad in warm-toned veneer panels with meticulously crafted vertical grooves. This richly textured surface enhances the spatial depth while creating a quiet rhythm in the overall composition. Brass accents and sculptural décor pieces lend a touch of luxe without overwhelming the space. Light dances in through sheer drapes, illuminating the environment with a quiet elegance.
One of the most thoughtful design interventions in this city home lies in the seamless spatial demarcation between the living, dining, and kitchen zones. Rather than resorting to heavy physical barriers, a custom-designed partition subtly delineates the functions while maintaining an open, fluid visual connection across the public areas of the home.
Crafted with a mix of vertical forms and open slots, the partition offers both partial privacy and permeability, allowing light, air, and conversation to flow effortlessly. This understated yet sculptural element becomes a defining anchor, balancing openness with definition
Cradled in a quiet nook, the mandir is a distilled moment of spirituality. Designed with reverence, its form language is clean and geometric, but deeply emotive. Warm wood tones, layered lighting, and carefully placed artefacts create an atmosphere that invites contemplation without distraction. Despite its compact footprint, the space feels expansive in soul — a gentle retreat within the home.
The master bedroom is a masterclass in tonal layering. A muted palette of beiges, taupes, and warm whites forms the base, with the bed’s fabric cladding anchoring the room. The feature wall behind the headboard showcases a textured panel layered with abstract linear forms, while three circular wall sconces in brushed brass add a striking rhythm and warmth.
Custom cabinetry in fabric-finish laminates blends into the space, offering function without visual clutter. A checkered throw adds graphic balance to the otherwise soft landscape of textures and textiles. The result is a bedroom that whispers luxury – a cocoon of composure and craft.
Designed with a sense of mature elegance, the daughter’s bedroom blends playfulness and poise. A curated wallpaper becomes the central feature, offering a subtle burst of geometry and color. The furniture, light in form yet rich in finish, complements the youthful spirit of the space. Tactile elements — from woven throws to pastel-toned upholstery — evoke a calming yet cheerful vibe, making the room a haven for both study and rest.
This residence reflects PiNiK_The Architect’s Design Studio’s ethos of creating immersive, experience-driven spaces.
